We visited "I Painted That" after receiving email marketing for the Galentines and Valentine's season ( they likely had my email from when I visited one of their old locations close to 10 years ago, and I am glad they still send me emails). It was easy to book online and reserved for two. We used the "waze app" to get there, and we had a hard time finding the location but made it five minutes later. It was busy, but we had a fantastic time. It is a lovely activity, and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that The painting was supposed to be of the woods with half a tree trunk and half a heart. This way, being a Valentine/Galentines event, the other attendee would make the other half, creating a whole trunk with a whole heart; this didn't happen. We both made our own. Either way, we had a good time. Nice activity for couples and dates or even groups.

A great thing to do in El Paso! It seems the most popular activity in this city is eating (as evidenced by the obesity rates) but this is a nice change. Great place to go as a single or a group and lots of fun to be had. The paintings have templates drawn on them and all "You" have to do as the painter is stay within the lines and have fun! Grand Opening weekend there was pizza, margerta's chips and salsa. I am not sure if food is served all the time. At the end of the class they take a group photo that they post on their Facebook page. All in all it's a great time and You come home with a little masterpiece that will make You say.. Hey! I Painted That!

Poor experience here. Skip it. For $35, offered no instruction, restricted use of paint, started late, poor personality, not a fun atmosphere.

Went there for date night, and was so excited to do the couples painting. Unfortunately the experience was nothing to remember. As we arrived our canvases were not even ready, despite us making a reservation and paying in advance per policy. Leaving us with a painting that did not match. She left to the back and had everyone waiting because she was trying to draw the canvases. So quickly that even an arm was missing, when we pointed it out she just came and painted it and said I hope it matches up...it did not. Once the class started, we were not really instructed to do anything, she probably spoke like 3 times throughout the whole class! You're better off watching YouTube tutorials. It's sad that at the end everyone actually walked out and she did not even care. I can't even name her because she didn't even greet or introduce herself when we arrived. It appears this place was really good a while back. Leaves me wondering what happened. I do not recommend this place.

We drove 40 minutes to attend a class this evening with family visiting from out of town. The website stated that we could purchase our tickets at the door, and since there website wasn't cooperating we continued to plan our entire day around our class. When we arrived multiple people were waiting in the parking lot and checking the front doors. The phone number gets you nowhere! So we sent an email, they had cancelled the class a few hours prior and gave no notifications on their site. They said we could drive ANOTHER 30 minutes to a different location but couldn't paint the picture we were all so excited about. Horrible experience.
