I bought a 2015 Nissan Frontier SV from what I believe to reputable dealership. Most will tell you to be weary of dealerships on Alameda, but it stands for anyone selling used vehicles. Evidently, the dealership took the vehicle in and prepped for resale without doing anything or not cost effective to them. I registered the vehicle on Carfax and it spewed out what's overdue, so i took it to Nissan, but previously took it to Alamo Auto Supply who tested the suspension, because I wanted to raise the truck slightly and they discovered the same deficiencies prior to going to Nissan.approved servicesnissan usa complimentary mulit-point inspectioncustomer requests replace struts ( front )customer requests replace front pads & resurface rotorscustomer states perform 6 cylinder engine tune upcustomer requests perform fuel induction service -customer requests perform injector cleaning service & flush -found both rear axle seals leaking and differential fluid seepinig onto parking brake shoes, replace rear brake shoes and rear axle sealcustomer requests perform brake system flush -customer requests perform front wheel alignment to factorydeclined services4 tires (dry rot in between treads) i know that a lot, so before buy get a service check.

Took the car in for service and they forgot to complete it all. When I asked what happened they said they might have just forgotten. I asked how do they know they didnt forget anything else and they could not give me an answer.

We made an appointment online for an oil change and received a email reminder. When we arrived we were told "we do not do appointments" and that it would be about 2 1/2 hour wait. We said okay we will go to the other VW dealership. They hurried out to stop us from leaving and said they can fit our vehicle in for our "simple" oil change. We said okay if you don't think it will be 2 1/2 hours to get it done. We sat in the waiting room for the 2 1/2 hours and watched customers come in after us and leave before us and yes they said they were getting an oil change. Our service advisor was very nice and kept coming out to let us know the progress. Bottom line- this Volkswagen service place does not monitor or accept the appointments you make for oil changes online and Saturday mornings are busy. They do have free bottled water, cookies and coffee.

I just purchased my second car from Paul and Rodolfo at Hoy and received first class service from beginning to end! I live out of state and will continue to buy cars from here because of how easy they are to work with and even had my car delivered to me in California. I give Hoy Family Auto 5 stars!!!!!

Hoy is seriously the best ! We just purchased our second car from them within the past two years and both experiences were amazing. Martin was very helpful and so nice. We were so pleased with everything, and the manager was very nice as well. Recently went back for service work and extremely satisfied again. We won't go anywhere else and would recommend them over and over !

This is dealing with only the service department. I have been going here for years to get my car serviced, John the service manager is always friendly and accommodating. This is the only dealership I reguraly use as I always felt ripped off at any other dealership over my lifetime. Prices are fair and they do what you ask. Normally they give me a new loaner or if it is just an oil change they will shuttle me to my work.

It's Dec 23. My Tpms and asr light came on and I'm passing through el Paso as I was driving from las Vegas to corpus Christie. Called hoyfox and was lucky enough to get an appointment for 7:30 on the 24th. I advised hoyfox that I was leaving the following day to continue my road trip and although I was told there were no loaner car's they brought my car right in the shop and got it diagnosed and repaired very quickly. Turned out to be a software update, nice! Had Brian working on my car and was impressed at the efficiency and quality of work that was displayed. Workers were polite, curtious, and very friendly. I was very impressed as I know working on holidays can be a drag but these workers made the best of it and made another customer out of me. I will def be recommending hoyfox. Thanks for the quick repair to get me back on the road, happy holidays!

I purchased a new vehicle last month with an pre -approval from VW. The sales manager mistakenly combined my information into someone else's account with VW. Fox auto did thus repeatedly ( had to return to sign new contracts 3 separate times ) yet in the end I am stuck fixing this issue directly with VW credit. Also, they have not provided the correct plates for my vehicle at this time. They received incorrect plates from the DMV due errors they committed when they submitted the documentation to the state. To make matters worse, they constantly lie and make up excuses about it thus delaying the plates even more. It seems that once they sell a vehicle they don't care about fixing their mistakes... beware and I don't suggest buying a vehicle here. All pertinent state authorities are being informed about their unethical business practices.

I wish to commend Service Advisor Alex Fernandez and Technician Alberto Gonzalez for their expert advice and service on our now classic 2003 VW Eurovan Weekender. These vehicles are very rare in El Paso and these two gentlemen have been the gold standard of advice, research, innovation, and dedication in keeping our beloved "Axel" roadworthy for trips throughout the country. Drove down from Las Cruces for what we thought would be Mercedes Benz-level service-what a huge disappointment. When we drove up to the service window/door there were two employees standing there chatting, ignoring us. No one came out to greet us-I had to go inside to find our advisor. When we met he did not greet me, welcome me, or even say good morning-just pulled out his IPAD and started typing. We left the car overnight for an oil change and a recommended brake line flush and fill-when we returned to pick it up at 3 pm the following day the cashier went to see the advisor (he did not come out to see us) said it wasn't ready and would be another 30 minutes. Well, I looked outside and my freshly washed car was sitting in the parking lot waiting to be driven away. Went to see advisor-no greeting, oh yes, just doing your paperwork....did not even review the work that was done. This was one of the absolute worst dealer service visits we've ever experienced. Will never return.
