Best menudo!! You get a 32oz cup with a piece of bread, onions, crushed pepper and oregano for 5 bucks! I love their bread! I always get an extra piece! It's my favorite thing on Sunday mornings!! You really get your money's worth, but if you're feeding many they also sell the menudo by the pot you bring in your pot and they fill it for you, they put a cups worth it's also a pretty good deal!

"I'm hungry," I said to my co-worker right after one of our large task of the morning. Being hungry is nothing new, especially since I proclaim that I'm hungry at least 4 times while I'm at work. "I know this place that sells burritos and they open at 7 AM," he said."All right... I'm so down," I said whilst dancing my happy dance. When you know you're going to fill your belly, I swear it makes you dance. My co-worker and I drove to this little store called Horizon. We go through 2 doors and BA BAM! Enough cookies, pastries, and donuts to get your sugar rush and possibly give yourself diabetes. Nothing says you're Filipino more than being on the verge of shooting yourself up with glucose (diabetes runs high in the Filipino community from which I am a proud member). My co-worker knew what he wanted and he knows my dietary restrictions (vegetarian and I like California Mexican food) and exclaimed, "You can get the papas con queso burrito... that means potatoes and cheese.""I know what that means! 4 years of Spanish wasn't entirely lost on me," I said jokingly. Maybe 4 years of Spanish was lost on me because I ordered in English... I didn't even have the guts to say 'please' and 'thank you' in Spanish. The woman gave me my burrito, I ran to the company vehicle, took a bite of the $2.50 potatoes and cheese burrito and said to my co-worker, "Don't leave yet, I want another."IT WAS THAT GOOD. Or I was that hungry and the burritos were that cheap. I'm more enamored by the fact that they make their own tortillas but I've been told there are a number of El Paso restaurants that do, in fact, make their own tortillas. I at least know what that means in Spanish - I have to go to more Mexican restaurants.

This Bakery is a Authentic Mexican Bakery .The pastries taste like original home made bakery. If you are trying to get the flavor of a fake Walmart sugarish imitation flavor then you are looking at the wrong place. The price is lower then most places .They have more then just pastries .They offer authentic burritos ,plates ,quesadillas and other Mexican food .If you are planning a sweet 16 they even offer "Bisocshos".Don't forget the menudo on weekends !I would recommend for any one who is looking for traditional Mexican bakery. The only down side is that there is no space for you to dine in .

Went at 8 am there wasn't much of a line. The lady I got rushed me through. She was impatient when I was looking at the bread. She ended up giving me the wrong cookies Probably cause she wasn't listening to me. The menudo is gross. It had no salt and it wasn't cooked long enough so the pozole was hard. The only redeeming factor was the white bread.
