High Vista Apts

Living here was a nightmare. The apartments are over priced for outdated kitchens and bathrooms. We rented a townhouse apartment with 2 beds and 2 baths in 2021 for about $1200 a month. The management is very strict sending all residents notifications that we could not have bikes on our balcony and only allowed to have "outdoor furniture." They send you aggressive emails about charging you penalty fees if you have bikes on your balcony. This is ridiculous because most people had bikes especially if you want to have bikes for the canyon next to the building. Who wants to keep bikes in their living room?!!! So ridiculous and outrageous!! One time our fridge stopped working out of nowhere and all our food was spoiled. The stoves and fridges are so old. Our neighbor next door was a public safety concern. I called the manager about her and how she brought dangerous people around. I constantly heard shouting and yelling which led to one of her guests to pull a GUN TOWARDS her!!! The cops arrived there multiple times and there was never really any peace and quiet. Always physical fights with her partner we could constantly hear the fights and arguing. She was really blatantly ignorant, racist and disrespectful calling my husband out of his name for just walking about his business into our apartment. Management never moved fast enough to do much about her and they only said they were working on "evicting her" They don't have any real rules that benefit tenants like the no smoking rules. That would have been a better rule since our crazy neighbor smoked in her apartment so much that the smell started leaking through our apartment. Living here was disgusting and I wish I could get that part of my life back! This is an awful place to live!

Love the landlords. Mrs. Tina is the property manager, Mrs. Brenda the assistant manager and Mr. Reese is great. These apartments are quiet and affordable, refrigerated air, carpet. We have a 2 bedroom 2 bath and it comes with a small den and a spacious living room. My husband and I just wish they were modern. They are older so there are a lot of little things that stick out to us. We have lived here for a year and we recommend this place if you are just moving to the Fort Bliss area. The rooms are large and spacious, the patio is nice (with a nice view) and you are right next to WBAMC (Hospital) and McKelligan Canyon, great for hiking, bike riding and exercise. Up the street is also the plasma center, Telecris, so if you ever wanted to donate plasma they are available. The area is great, Walmart is on Dyer St, Family Dollar, hair shops, an amazing sushi restaurant (and market), and you are 10 minutes away from Global Reach Gate. It would have 5 stars but again a lot of small cosmetic things we wished were fixed and also wish it was updated.

I have been living here with my boyfriend for 2 years now. We rent a townhome and absolutely love it here. We love the convenience of the location. Close to the VA, McKellingon canyon, fort bliss, and multiple restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. The staff here is always super friendly and the neighbors are friendly as well. The price is a little high but, I feel that they make up for it with a timely maintenance team. The maintenance team is always professional and gets repairs done usually within 2-3 days of me placing my work order. The pool and facilities are always up to standard and very clean and the management team always addresses my issues and gives me the opportunity to fix any issue if there was an unintentional lease violation. The cable and wifi package that's included with rent is amazing as well. I stream movies and game off it without any issue. Thanks high vista!

Had a leak through the ceiling from our upstairs neighbor using their dishwasher. Put in a maintenance request and the maintenance guy told us he told them not to use it, leaked the remainder of our stay even after putting in multiple more maintenance requests. AC would drain through the roof, maintenance guys would just barge in the house with no knock or anything. Also very small for the rent price. Very narrow counters, you can tell that everything was just painted over when the last tenant moved out. Would never recommend
