Hibachi Express Japanese Restaurant

Great food! I am vegetarian and it is hard to find places to eat but they had options and it was fresh.

You can tell that they try to cut back costs with the quality of what I received. Very cheap. Dry and overcooked steak. Provided no sauces or utensils for our delivery order. Mediocre tasting noodles. It's edible and ok but I wouldn't say this place is good.

Surprisingly good food. Good flavor.I tried the chicken yakisoba, seasame chicken with noodles, hibachi steak, and a specialty roll. The chicken noodles are my partners go to. My favorite was the hibachi steak; there were mushrooms in it. There is good seasoning on every dish; the fried rice had good flavoring which is surprising since I'm usually not a fan of takeout fried rice sides. Food doesn't taste as good reheated the next day, so I would order enough not to have too much leftover.

So I'm on my 2-week hitch and I'm craving some decent Chinese food and they just happened to move me to Midland Tx away from Colorado. So my coworker said let's hit this place up, they're pretty good. We arrive and it's in a Lil Strip shopping center, nothing unassuming. We walk in and nothing fancy but they have a decent assortment of sushi rolls and their hibachi offerings. I ordered the Jalapeño Combo with fried rice, chicken, steak, and shrimp and an order of egg rolls. My food is handed to me and I get to work and proceed to begin with the egg rolls; they're your typical egg rolls, nothing fancy at all or anything to make them stand out but they are tasty. On to my main course and it's pretty well stocked with fried rice, veggies, and proteins. The plate was flavorful and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the shrimp, they were a good size and not the cocktail variety. They were meaty and good as were the chicken and steak pieces. I'm pleasantly full and ready to take a nap but I'm at work. The only thing that would have set it apart is no Hot Chili Oil available.

This place was right by my hotel. I wanted sushi, but this place looked off putting. Not much was open, so I finally relented and ordered. I was extremely surprised. Everything flavorful and hit the spot for a quick delicious meal. I will 100% order the Godzilla roll again. Also, when I went to pick up, the place was packed. Seems like a little hidden gem and I hope they're successful.

Cashier was very rude to the customer, had an attitude with all customers. None of the workers or supervisors in charge tried to de-escalate. Horrible experience!!

One of my favorite spots in midland good food portions great price good quality. Everything you could ask for great place would recommend to everyone!

I order food to go here about once a month, Hibachi Chicken & rice. It is pretty good, but it could use a little spicing up. I usually put some Polynesian sauce on it when I get home. There is enough food to last for 3 meals. Service is great! I call 10-15 minutes ahead and it's always ready when I get there. They always include utensils (plastic).

Oh how I love this place! The food is so yummy and fresh. I keep going back and back for more. So so so good!

Best hibachi restaurant here in midland, been going here for a while and the food never disappoints, very good food for the best price! The lion king roll is the best thing you'll ever have(if u like sushi).
