Hatch Chile Sales

Lots of selection with chiles (fresh and dried) as well as a decent selection of spices to take home with you. They will also roast your chiles for you!

They have a huge selection of dried chilies, chili powders and knick knacks for sale. The lady who was helping me was was very nice, and as I was telling her I was going to be shipping them to a friend advised me against shipping green chilis which were frozen due to them being out of season. They also offered to ship products for me. I would definitely stop by the next time I am going through Hatch.

Bought a bag of mild chili spice $5. Just had to since this is the chiliest place in the world! Selling outdoors. The guy was from San Jose, Ca. Seems like everywhere we go we meet people from the bay area. Very cool. On the main road. A very calm dog welcomed us. A lady was busy make a string of chilis.

We love this place- have bought big bags of fresh roasted green chiles (and lots of dried red ones, too) the past two years in August while passing thru. (when the green ones are fresh and actually in season-- ). They are a great family owned biz - and its an amazing treat for us to bring them back home to CA where I immediately vacuumseal and freeze all that goodness. Heard they had a fire -very very sad to hear. Sending Peter and crew all our best from Joshua Tree- and hoping you will rebuild and come back stronger than ever

Fun place to stop to pick up some of the famous Hatch Chiles to take home to friends and family. Reasonably priced. Very helpful sales person that advised us on different types of green chiles. Dried, other peppers that looked like pretty red beads, that just need to be pinched every so lightly to sprinkle over the top of your food. We also purchased some dried, for the son who loves to cook with green chile. It's the kind of place you want to stop when you've been on the road, need to stretch the legs a bit, and buy some local flavor.

Cool store. They didn't have any fresh chiles when I was there - which was disappointing - but I picked up several plastic baggies full of chile and garlic powder. They have quite a variety of dried chiles and powders and prices are ridiculously low.

They didn't have much while I was there.No fresh chiles and no ristras.They had exactly 3 bags of the xxx hot chile powder and 2 bags of crushed pepper flakes.That's it.We bought out our 3 bags which were marked 2 for 10. They tried charging 2 for 15 until we pointed out the pricing on the bag which they honored.They did have sign on their door stating that if they were closed and you wanted chiles to call the owner at a certain number, and they'd come open for you and give you a discount for your inconvenience.

This is the first year I tried MR Chile from Moreno's farm. The medium is flavorful with a little heat and a lot of meat. I highly recommend chile from this location!LindaLas Cruces, NM

They have ju about everything that you would want. Courteous employees and very helpful.
