I want to give it more but I mean it's nearly a ghost town so you can tell the town is in a depression Nothing is maintained anywhere in the town not a single restaurant is very nice I suppose besides the brand new Burger King but for some very delicious authentic Mexican this is it portions are not Americanized and maybe that's a good thing anyways really good food and I left a decent tip for the server who is maybe. With out trying to be rude is hard to understand I'd definitely come back and support this family business.

Howdy Y'all. I stopped in here today at 1500hrs, hungry enough to eat the *ss out of a dead polecat! The only place open downtown was Habanero's. Seen the low rating and wondered WTH was up because the parking out fron was full & restaurant was packed (always a trusted sign of good food).Walked in, greeted immediately and was sat at a table. Place was packed, table and floor was very clean. Waitress came over, brought chips n salsa (complimentary). Chips were hot and crisp. Salsa was perfect, not watery, fresh and tasty.Order CFS. Ordered arrived quickly. Good size w/fries and small salad. Loved it. Great oilfield spot or hungry Yelpers coming off Interstate. Not sure why all the whining but don't worry about them snowflakes. This is the real deal. Solid food and service and reasonably priced, even in an oilfield town (try Odessa, if you don't know what I mean). I'll be back. If you think I'm full of baloney - read my other reviews: I don't hold back, been around the world a few times and will roast a place if it's a dump. This place was 5 stars, a rare treat in this area and worth the trip!

100% TERRIBLE. Bland stale chips, boring salsa, fajitas were burnt to a crisp and super greasy. They also don't make their own tamales. The service matched the food so don't expect much. I had high hopes for this place since I love to support local but I should have known better when only one other table was occupied. DAMN!!!! This place has so much potential.

Worst food I've ever paid for & not even ate! If I can give a review of -20 it would be for this place. The food tasted sour and when we asked the waitress she replied that everyone says the same thing about the beans and rice tasting sour. The carne asana was heavily floured slop. I feel bad for the waitress because she clearly had her apology down before I could even finish my sentence which tells me a lot. If you're wanting to throw $40 away this is the place to do it because you will only be able to eat the chips with salsa and drink! I have to be honest and warn those traveling looking for a good meal like we were. This is not a good place at all!

Nothing fancy, but decent Tex-Mex. I had a combo plate with a chile relleno and two cheese enchiladas with green sauce.Complimentary chips and salsa before the meal. Our chips were a little overcooked, but the salsa was tasty.Not many choices in Monahans.

Not sure why all the negative or bad reviews... Everything was good, hot and better than most in town! Service was very good only complaint would be it took a bit to get our food, but food was all good and hot!

Said I would come back to Habaneros and I am so glad we did! Thus food was superb, great selection of domestic & Mexican beer at a great price. I'll be back again!!

Looked shady but the service and food was great. Love the thick -shredded cheese. I will come back.

I'm very picky on my Mexican food and I love this place! I love their taco dinner plate.

I liked it. Sometimes bad reviews tend to smack of agenda. Seems the case here. Good service. Cold beer. Decent food. I'll be back.
