Customer service is 10/10We got the pulled pork sandwhich, pork ribs, rice, beef empanada and Mac and cheese (we like the spice). It was all delicious!!! The barbecue sauces were tasty we loved all of them, applewood was our favorite. We got a sample of the turkey and it was the juiciest The beef empanada and the sauce are perfect together we can't wait to come back and try the brisket empanada! We only got a picture of the empanada!

Gunny's now has his own shop in Hereford! The official opening is August 1, but today is his first food truck plaza with varied foods. I came by shortly after noon with my appetite. I had a short wait by the food truck, but service was prompt.I had a pulled chicken sandwich with Cole slaw. Meat is served dry but I had the option of five different sauces and I chose the mild Smoked Applewood. Slaw was good and not runny at all. The meat was very tender.Gunny walked around and chatted with his customers, as usual, and let me sample his sauces. The Angry Gunny sauce is definitely hot!!! The smoked sweet red chili sauce is also good.He gave customers a tour of this new restaurant. Rose, the woman selling her sweet treats, was also there. She will have a display case on Fridays with her brownies, peanut butter cookies, scones. She is also a retired CI warrant officer.I really enjoyed the camaraderie, talking to other military retirees.The ambiance is still in the works. Gunny wants to add a dog-friendly horseshoe pit and more outdoor seating in the future.

Overpriced, and small portions. I recommend going to Wilcox to Big Tex BBQ to enjoy real Texas BBQ.

While all the barbecue is really good; my favorite is the pork!Not only is the flavor of the pork delicious, the meat has just the right texture to really enjoy!And no review would be complete, without recognizing that the service and hospitality is so very friendly and welcoming!I can't wait to go back!

Loui never disappoints! His meats are tender and flavorful never dry.I went there for lunch and back for dinner. Love his food.What a great guy and a Marine!

I ate inside the newly opened facility and had the Keto Special: shredded chicken, shredded pork, and shredded brisket. They all were juicy and tasty. I tried all the sauces and they were good and fun but meat didn't need them. I thought the portions were sufficient. The staff gave the group of friends I was with and me plenty of attention. The system delivered my plate of delicious food quickly.The faculty was comfortable and clean.They are having a fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child tomorrow Saturday, August 12, 11am-2:30pm. Good food and generous people!!!!

We ordered take out. Had the Keto plate (three meats- pulled pork, chopped brisket and chopped (shredded?) chicken) and she had the rib plate with potato salad and chips. Also took home an assortment of sauces as well. Ribs are fall off the bone and tasty and the meats were great as well (pulled pork was the favorite of the three, then the brisket and then the chicken). Nothing wrong with any but favored the pulled pork. Potato salad was good. If I order again, I'd get the ribs first, then pulled pork. Very reasonably priced for barbecue. Definitely 5-stars here.

I can't say enough what a fabulous find this place is. The food and service was OVER the top. I will be sending all of my friends and guest to Gunny's for the best Barbeque!

Worth the drive! This BBQ is amazing! I can say the Brisket will make your mouth water and the shredded chicken is a check mark too. I haven't tried the pulled pork... Definitely stop by and try! He offers many different BBQ sauces as well! I love the applewood smoked sauce ... YUMMY
