Guadalupana Tortilleria & Restaurant

Talk about a hidden gem! This has got to be the best authentic Mexican food that I've tasted since moving back to El Paso. My mother brought back some barbacoa burritos for us to try and we instantly decided that we had to go to this place to see what else that had to offer. We arrive 2 hours before they closed, which is at 6 p.m. They do have waiter service but you seat yourselves. We ordered the Queso Fundido to start with and for our main, we ordered a Torta De Milanesa and some Carne Asada tacos. We had our daughter with us, so we also ordered the kids tacos de carne asada. The food had lots of flavor and very delicious. Nothing disappointed. It was definitely good and to our liking. We'll do the drive anytime to come back.

Was starving and didn't know where to go in the area. Popped in here to give it a try. For the price it is a decent value. Plenty of food on the plate unfortunately the food is only average in flavor. Had the beef fajitas with a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla was packed with cheese, but no other items. Probably could have used some pico or spices. Beef fajitas were a little dry and lacked zest. At least there is a decent salsa bar with good options to add more flavor to the meal. Unfortunately just nothing special here.
