Felt like catfish on this Saturday afternoon so out we go to this spot on dyer. Walk in and place isn't quite finished so you know it's going to be good. Ordered catfish, collard greens, Mac and cheese and it came with some corn bread. It was not good it was amazingly good, catfish was fried to perfection and collard green had great flavor, Mac and cheese was ok compared to everything else. Ohh yeah corn bread was delicious...will definetly comeback without my doctors knowledge...service does take some time so be aware of that but worth it.

Oh damn, this place is so freaking good. Wife found this place from an FB post. I ordered the fried pork chops with collard greens, and dirty rice, wife had the golden fried chicken with mac n cheese and potato salad. You won't go wrong stuffing your face here.

Great service. Home cooked tasting food. Seems like the are new in town. I will go back for the OX tails!!!

One of the best places we've been to during our time in El Paso! Hidden gem in the northeast, conveniently located if you work on Fort Bliss. The family owned business is the epitome of home cooked food.

This place is run by the one chef and help from her mom. She's a really good person and I enjoyed the conversation with the owner/chef as much as I enjoyed the food. I ordered the wings, greens, dirty rice, macaroni and cheese, and the peach cobbler. Oh and she serves KOOL-Ade! I enjoyed everything except the dirty rice. The flavor was really good but I don't care for the type of rice so that was the reason. The peach cobbler was my favorite though. I would definitely go back and try something else. She is also known for seafood boils which I hope to try one day. The ambiance was hole in the wall but really clean and nice.

We had the chance to visit and the food was good for the most part. The fish was hot, fresh with flavor. The Mac and cheese was ok, not great. I have had better. The cabbage was NOT my favorite at all. The greens were good and had smoked turkey in it. The yams were given unflavored! For $60, I would expect so much more when it comes to soul food.

This restaurant could be amazing and it has unlimited potential!!! I would love to work with the owner as I am an executive chef, certified dietary manager and a business expert. I totally recommend this place to anyone that loves good soul food and prompt service!!! The food is awesome and I would like to be a consultant for them to help them succeed because they deserve it!!!

The lady who owns this restaurant is the nicest person ever. The food is also so good!! This is the best soul food place in El Paso!

I don't even know where to start!! My husband and I throughly enjoyed our meal. Every item we tried was a HIT! The food is well seasoned, prepared, and the portions are FAIR!! Nothing about this food tasted rushed or unfresh! Tasted like I was at my grandmas house (may she RIP)! The customer service also, unmatched! It feels good to finally have found a place in El Paso where WE can be at home. If you're craving soul food like I was , run not walk to this establishment! 10/10 !! We will be regulars ! My pregnancy hormones have me picky but even my baby gave a kick of approval :)

Initially I couldn't find the restaurant, but I eventually did! when I walked in, I was greeted and given a place to sit. Immediately I already knew the food was gonna be good because the aroma of the restaurant could be smelled as soon as I walked through the door! Their lights are low in the front area, which made me super calm & they had the tv on (at a low volume). That's the way I like it. I ordered the smoked turkey wings, and lemme tell you.. I know when your heart is in your food! it was so good, I mean it really fell off the bone.
