Gorditas Tony's

I came upon Gorditas Tony's by chance while visiting El Paso. So glad I decided to stop and try it. I ordered the #12 which included whole beans, jalapeños, and cheese. I added avocado for extra nourishment and yumminess. The gal who took my order was great. I told her what I wanted and she told me the least expensive option on the menu to get it all. Employee recommendations and consideration are always appreciated by me. I enjoyed sitting at a table close to the kitchen where I was able to watch the bread being cooked. When my Gordita arrived, I found it to be larger than any other place I have eaten them. The bread part was soooo delicious! I could have easily just eaten it. I took a bite with all of the stuffed goodies and oh my!!!! The Gordita was so good! The beans and jalapeños were cooked together and were absolutely delicious. The avocado was creamy and the cheese had melted perfectly for my preference. I will definitely be back and will bring the family.

My coworker brought me a verde Gordita the other day from here and I knew I had to find this place myself! It's small, simple and amazing!They have about 12 choices of Gorditas with fresh made meats and salsas. The prices range from 2.75 to 4.50$ and that alone is insane!!! You can't get anything for those prices now! And they pack the gorditas FULL! There is no skimpy Gordita's here!! I 100% recommend trying this place. My favorite by far is the chicken mole and the verde- which has pork, soft potatoes and salsa verde! Sooo good!!

Woohoo! #200! I grew up thinking that the only types of Gorditas are the fried masa ones. Crunch corn shell stuffed with picadillo or another guisado. I enjoy them, but I don't always want fried food. Then one day, I stumbled upon a magical place that sells them with harina instead of maíz (flour instead of corn) and grilled, not fried. And I note prefer these 90% of the time. My typical order is 2 chile con queso (which has Serranos, so a bit of a kick) and huevos con nopales (cactus leaf and eggs). I usually find the texture of nopal slimy and off putting, not here. I've also tried gets potato and cheese, but it had ham in it, so don't know if they gave me the wrong thing, but as i dont eat meat, didn't quite hit the spot. In the past, I use to dislike that cashier also made the gorditas, but that seems to have changed. Overall, clean. This is definitely one of my crave places.

Sabe igualito que al de sunland park me acabo de mover para este lado de la ciudad y algo que extrañaba bastante eran las gorditas había probado las de Zaragoza pero estaban asquerosas pero esta ubicación en Montana sabes súper rico!!!

My only complain is that they don't open earlier during the week. Other than that the guisados, the gorditas are really great! Only on occasion also depending on the time you go they have ran out on certain food items. The winnie, rajas con queso (really spicy) are my favorite!

My coworkers and I ordered from this place yesterday because I was craving burritos but couldn't find anything close by. I usually get the bean and cheese gordita and the avocado burrito and then split them in half and switch them to make them bean and avocado gorditas...lol. Weird but delicious. This time I decided to get the deshebrada en verde and the jamón con huevo and added cheese. The deshebrada didn't have a good potato to meat ratio....it was mostly potato. It was good and super spicy. The jamón was either cooked in chorizo grease or had some chorizo in it which is cool but something gave it a sweet taste which I wasn't a fan of. So I think from now on I'll stick to the bean and cheese and avocado... can never go wrong with those.

The best gorditas ever!!! Period just good!! My daughter is vegetarian so she had quesadilla en frijoles with queso . My gorditas verde en rajas con queso they were delicious !!!

For $2.99 a gordita, I can't really complain too much. The only problem is that one gordita doesn't fill you! The fillings also contain very little meat. The verde carne deshebrada was mostly potatoes, so that was disappointing. The rojo had a better kick and also included avocado. The actual flatbread was delicious, and the gorditas make a great snack. The service is fast, fast, fast, even during the lunch hour! So it's a great option if you are short on time and are sick of the nearby options (Sonic, Taco Bell). I'll probably come again to try new flavors since they are so cheap!

Of all the places in El Paso, this place seems to have won me over the most. It's not much to look at, in fact, it barely catches your attention as you drive by. In fact, even if you're looking for it, you just might pass it by if you aren't careful. However, I had a friend bring me here, and it has REVOLUTIONIZED my life!To me, a guy born in Wisconsin who lives in Minnesota, I thought I always knew what a gordota was. Taco Bell had them, and they were the typical Taco Bell standard of. Ugh. Hmmm. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure they have a standard...Anyways, this little spot has forever raised the bar for me when it comes to gorditas and Mexican food. It has some amazing flour tortilla filled gorditas. You really can't go wrong, but my favorite had the red chili pepper inside.All they do is make gordotas, and as they do this, all they do is win!

Food is delicious every time and the serving size is a good size as well. The people are very nice and service the needs of their customers
