This is one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at - From Canada to Hawaii. The B&B is really beautiful with large gallery spaces and several artists exhibiting. The rooms are very spacious. The linens are soooo soft. I was luxuriating in the cool sheets after a warm day exploring the quaint town. It is so close to downtown restaurants and coffeehouses, I did not need to drive while in town. And the Trail of Mountain Spirits Highway takes you into drop dead gorgeous scenery in about 15 minutes. If you are planning a summer get away this is the place to go.

This was a fantastic experience. The host greeted us at the door and made us feel very welcomed. The room was comfortable and the morning breakfast was perfect. We would stay again and again and again.

Really nice owners and incredibly accommodating. Would have liked a more comfy bed but the location is perfect and the amenities are great. Loved the great room. Wish we had a bunch of friends with us to enjoy it also.

Richard and Amanda are great hosts - the room (Mimbres) was large and light - with its own portal. Quiet and exceptionally clean - comfortable bed and a room willed with whimsy - not junk. The common rooms are filled with good local art in a large and airy setting. Breakfast was not a cooked affair but was coffee, juices, cereals, several kinds of pastries and lots of fruits. (Dare I mention the beer dispenser for an afternoon pint following hiking all day?). Richard did all the tile work (check the Zia in the gallery) and Amanda's works are displayed and for sale in the gallery. Close to downtown and the Jalisco Restaurant (GOOD) and Diane's (BETTER) and Isaac's (BEST). I write this glowing recommendation with the thought that it may be booked the next time I go there - its worth the chance to let the reader know how nice this place is.

The Mimbres room was not quite what we expected, from the padlock on the door to the open bathroom (covered with a sheet), to the patio, which could have been blown off and also treated for ants. They were having swamp cooler problems so our patio view also included the view of the ladder and workman climbing up and down for the afternoon we were there. I'm not sure if the next day was better after having taken a spill down their dark stairway in the morning while getting coffee, or returning back to the room about 2:30pm to find that the water had been shut off. (Turned back on about 6pm) The location is great though, great parking, but you don't need much more than a few hours to see Silver City, we would have found it quite enough to stay just one night but with a 2 night minimum, well, that was one night to long.
