I was unfortunate to come in where they have a really rude and unprofessional coach. First, the gym is a huge warehouse with multiple entrances. I go into the gym apparently on the wrong side and the rude coach immediately points at me and yells go to the front like Im suppose to know where that is? Second, i have attempted to sign up three times with three different members telling me three different stories. The third time is with that rude coach and he says i can't participate in class unless I handle it (like hello?! I keep on getting tossed around trying to figure it out!). He had the audacity to tell me "we just can't have you taking free classes". That's so embarrassing for him to imply that I'm freeloading off of this gym. I even told him can I just pay for today's class? And he still denied me. Will definitely not invest in my health and money into this unprofessional gym.

Get Lifted seems like a really awesome CrossFit gym. Everyone I met was helpful and friendly. I was really overwhelmed when I first showed up, like nearly to tears b/c I was afraid to be there. I felt like I didn't belong in such a place. By the end of my assessment I was happy, felt great about my accomplishments, and was ready to sign up.Unfortunately, my workout hit me about 5 minutes after I was done talking with my assessment trainer and I totally lost it standing in the hallway. I couldn't tell if I needed to puke or pass out, neither of which happened, but I knew standing in that hall would be the end of me.So I abruptly ran off with my contract to sign up back to my car and sat there with my head on the steering wheel for about 5-8 minutes until I came back to life.If you want a hard core workout in a short amount of time, this is your place. If you want to be challenged at a pace you can actually do, this is your place. If you want to be surrounded by motivating happy people, this is STILL your place. You work your entire body with the system they have set up, and you don't have to worry about using any fancy machinery. It's all you, it's all your body. And there were people of varying fitness levels at this gym, though I do feel like it's a place you go after you know you can handle a workout.I may actually sign up here after I feel a little more bad ass, but I know I could handle it now if I just tried. I just don't want to try right now, I'm happy with my little runs.Thursday is open gym. Show up 10 minutes before the hour to sign in and get paired up with a trainer and see if CrossFit is for you!

Once again I must brag on the most heavy duty hardcore fitness facility and staff here in El Paso... If you are in need of the most challenging ,extreme result driven, challenge of your life, if you are the kind of human who cannot be satisfied with just sweating but need to be drenched as though you swam the Rio Grande itself and said bring on the ocean... This is for you... The owner isn't just a powerhouse, he is also a former pro athlete who has a taste for blood and guts in his workouts, he is more demading of himself than of any disciple of his body sculpting via sledgehammer... Go here, go this, and after the himalayans will seem only a logical next step.

Been coming to this place for the last 4 years. I like this box because they have 3 other branches in ELP, making it convenient if you happen to be on the opposite side of town. This is a more advanced gym filled with folks who compete at the Regional and National level and the owner is ex-NFL, but I still don't feel intimidated as a relative "weakling". In fact, it motivates me more, many times! Good group with various ages and levels. Instructors are good as well. I try to stay away from the more packed classes, to get better attention to improve my technique. I like that they post their daily WOD on Instagram - helps me mentally prepare for what I'm going to encounter that day!

First off, when I first arrived to this gym all was well, I realized many of these reviews were most likely through incentives for the clients when in actuality the family setting it imbues does not justify the facade it tries to cover. The fact of the matter is, Elizabeth Amezaga is more worried about capital than the clients. A box owner should be involved in helping clients set goals and asking how the workouts have helped them progress. Instead she is rather more concerned with people that are in the interest of suing her gym. Everyday she finds a new policy that is not stated on the contract, and runs a slave ship among her coaches and gym. What once was humble beginnings turned out to be an uncomfortable setting everyday that I conduct my own workout session. I had the "true" pleasure of getting to know Elizabeth when I witnessed her scold her daycare provider, Martha in front of many children. When you arrive you will be greeted with smiles and when you leave you will feel a rush of uncomfortability come over you. Please heed my warning, DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM.
