Gasoline Ray's Dive Bar

Great service and food. The Birris tacos were good but a little expensive for 3 tacos. They charge 12 dollars.

Best birria on the west side. The bartenders are always kind. Never rush. The music is great. Awesome for large groups. And great for dancing.

Gasoline Ray's is a Dive Bar without being "dirty divey". I like the atmosphere and the bartenders are always really friendly. No draft beer BUT the beers are ice cold which I appreciate. The last time we were there the bartender was alone and super busy and when we asked he was happy to put 6 beers in a bucket for us which helped him and kept us happy and our beers full.We've only ordered food once in the few times we've been there. At the suggestion of the bartender we had the rolled tacos/flautas and for me the food was just Ok. I'm not saying it was bad but based on other reviews I guess I just expected more. Not to worry though. We'll be back for the beer and the atmosphere.

I am super happy to report that Gasoline Ray's still has $1 birria tacos for Taco Tuesday and $2 Tecates and the Yueling was like a dollar more. I love the atmosphere because people leave you alone, which is great because I'm not there for the conversation, I'm there for the food. My friend and I sat at the bar and the food was coming out fairly quickly and for some reason there were just chicks like us at the bar. I kept seeing the same orders coming out and asked them what they ordered and they said it was a hidden house menu item, the rolled tacos with birria sauce. Whoa, crunchy rolled flautas in the amazing birria sauce? Game on!Cut to the chase, it was really really good but super duper spicy! I'm a wimp and this had me crying and taking deep breaths to control the fire. One order came with 4 flautas and by my 4th one I couldn't taste them anymore over the burn. I believe it was $8 for an order. I'll come back, but until I build up a tolerance for spicy foods, I'll just stick to the $1 birria tacos on Taco Tuesday.

This little place could be so much fun but it's a bar rescue special. Kids working there were drinking and having a great time. The owner might find his profits dwindling.

Great place!! It's got a oldie rock dive bar. They have leather couches and a bar with old rock playing, nice vibe of the place and a license plate wall that really fits. Service is great, quite a wait on the day I went because they have the bartender running the room as well, but we got chips and salsa tray for the wait though. Love the service once agWe had a nice lunch though. Drinks were so good, got the cucumber margarita and the butterfly shrimp (lemon pepper). The shrimp was quite lemony but amazing.

Best place in el paso for taco Tuesdays. Great food great staff. It's the perfect little vibe to hangout at.

Came here on a Tuesday. Someone from work had mentioned they do taco Tuesday with good Birria tacos and cheap beers. The tacos were $1 for chicken and $1.50 each for birria. The chicken tacos were a bit plain in that they came with just chicken on a tortilla. If it had some cheese, onion, or cilantro that would have instantly improved it. The birria tacos were great and flavorful. The consume was rich. I believe the beers were $2 or so for a Tecate when we had gone. The bar had a great vibe and was neither crowded nor empty. Overall, I could see myself going back to this bar for a taco Tuesday fix.

Best thing I can say about this place is that the staff is super friendly and courteous. They really go out of their way to provide you with exceptional service. The second best thing I can say is the the food is really good and at a great price. We ordered the mixed family pack which came with a bunch of flautas, birria tacos, quesadilla, wings, fries, birria sauce, salsa, queso, sour cream, all for only $25. Our party of 5 could barely finish it. The only thing I wish is if the wings were crispier. But for bar good, it's outstanding. You must hit this place up!

Great afternoon!!! Service was terrific, food was WAY BEYOND "bar food" in quality, and prices are incredible. Great sound system! I wish I could rent the couch for the night!! Warm, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. I'd like to start the experience all over again.
