I've now purchased a sectional and a table from Furniture City and we're thinking about some where down the road (possibly) purchasing another bedroom set from them as well. I'm basically a Furniture City spirit guide, here to tell you about the journey you are about to go on.Like many furniture stores in El Paso, the second you cross the threshold, an associate will approach you, introduce themselves, ask if you know what you're looking for, ask if you've ever been to Furniture City before, tell you if you need any help just ask, and then they will NEVER leave you. Some are a little more pushy than others and constantly trying to tell you how great every couch is that you look at. Personally, if someone is going to follow me around, I prefer the person that takes a back seat and only speaks up when I have actual questions... not when I'm just chillin' out, maxin' on the softest mattress I could find. And honestly, if I'm "just looking", I prefer someone who doesn't follow me so closely (maybe have yourself a seat on a couch two couches away). But then there's also the associates here that start off super pushy, but after they follow me around for ten minutes they seem to get anxiety, thinking I'm not about to buy (or I'm not buying fast enough) so they're having an inner battle wondering if they should stay with me and hope I buy something or if they should just jump on to the next customer that walks into the store. Those ones wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't start out so pushy.And I get it, they're commission, but I don't always feel like the customer service is all there. For instance, after buying the couch, we realized we hadn't gotten the measurements for it and they didn't have it online so we figured, what the heck... let's just go in and ask for the measurements. As soon as the first associate that approached us, realized we weren't there to buy, he kind of disappeared into the abyss (even though the store was pretty empty and he couldn't have possibly had anything else to do that. very. second.). I tracked him down again anyways.All that being said, Irma is ah-mazing! We actually ended up buying both the couch and table through her. FC has decent to good prices, but she always finds the best deals for us. Awesome! She's friendly and she really seems to feed of her customer's energy. When we walk in with a "We know exactly what we want so don't try to sell us on it (or anything else), it's already sold" attitude, she doesn't play games. If we're being very straight to the point, so is she. If we're walking around lingering, so is she. Nothing ever feels pushy which I appreciate so much. Ask for Irma if you're shopping or browsing here.The customer service at this place is pretty much the most important factor to me, but it's worth noting that the offer a wide variety of furniture, the furniture is quality stuff, their website doesn't show a fraction of what they offer (or prices... kind of ridic), delivery isn't expensive, they offer a 5 year warranty with pricing based on the cost of the piece, and they get your furniture to you as quickly as possible.

Walking into the place I told The salesman I had $2385. I need it two twin size beds, one king size mattress and a couch loveseat after sitting there for an hour and a half watching him will and deal the lowest he got was $2,800 very disappointed

Went into the store looking for a bedroom set. A salesman by the name of Moe helped us out and gave us a great price. Went back a few weeks later to order 2 pieces we had not bought the first time around. We spoke to a different salesman by the name of Adam. We let Adam know exactly what we were looking for. After thinking we were on the same page, we paid for the pieces, and he stated they would be in the warehouse in 10 days. When the pieces came in, one of the pieces was not what we had ordered. Adam was not very helpful with the situation. He did not return my phone calls or try to listen to my concerns. I had to call the next day to speak to the Manger, Eddie, whom was just as unaccommodating as Adam. After going back and forth, I asked to speak to someone at corporate. I was given an email for a gentleman by the name of Omar. I reached out to Omar, and he handled the situation immediately. He took the time to listen to the problem and found a solution. Great job Omar. Thank you for your professionalism.

Be very careful with these guys. Once you sign on the dotted line, that's the end. If you change your mind at that time, you only get 75% of your money back. If something is damaged during shipping, you only have 24 hours to report it. Check everything really, really well. They claim there is a wonderful warranty on the furniture, but they won't honor it. We purchased a reclining couch and love seat, and they were delivered a few weeks later. A few days after that, we discovered a scuff mark that went all the way through. We contacted them, sent photos, and called to follow up. They said it was burned and would not do anything for us. They didn't even offer to repair it, help us order a replacement part, nothing. I told "Eddie" Hakim, the manager, that we had planned on buying more things, and wouldn't it make financial sense to help us out to keep our business? This guy doesn't care. He even suggested that there are over 80 other furniture stores in town. In his defense, it probably is a sad job to have.The couches themselves look good and feel good, but once you look underneath, they are poorly made, low quality, the wires are held in place with twist ties, and the electronics inside give off a very strong, unshielded electrical field straight into your lower body, and that is not good for you. I really want a local business to do well, but only if they deserve it. They've gotten too comfortable and don't think they need to help customers after the check clears.

I purchased over $35,000 dollars worth of furniture from Furniture City, waited extended periods of time for deliveries, dealt with countless employees and the owner, Mike Munhsin and his sons, without ever receiving any resolution on a piece of furniture for my formal dining room. At purchase I paid an extra service fee to assure any damages would be repaired during the first year. The first delivery was damaged and not ever unloaded. The second delivery was also damaged. I have tried unsuccessfully for over a year to get the repairs. Now, they say it has been over a year

I will never spend money here again. We ordered tables over two months ago that should have been here six weeks ago and still haven't arrived.Every time we call to check on the status were told they are scheduled to be loaded on the truck "tomorrow", yet haven't arrived.Any comments or inquiries made on social media kit delete it and they also block people from posting.Completely untrustworthy, go somewhere else.

If you want to be scammed this is the place to "buy" your furniture. They provide terrible customer service and when it comes time to deliver they don't deliver at all. I went to buy a dining table and I never received it, when I called they refuse to take my calls and refuse to give me my money back!!! Instead they gave me a one time offer to give 250 dollars store credit!!! I'm out 1,400 dollars!!!

Went in and purchase $8,000 worth of furniture, then a couple of months later purchased a sofa and two chairs for $11,000 which included lifetime warranty. The sofa cushion had a tear, so i called for the cushion to be replaced every time i called or drove down there, it was in the mail. Pretty soon there was never an order. It has now been four years, and no refund, no and still have a $9,00 sofa with a tear. The upcharge for the warranty, but never come thru, and they are sweet when you come in, but once you have your order and paid for it... your on your own! This is for the one in Sunland Park!! Extremely diappointed.

This is a review of Furniture City's shoddy business acumen. A very good friend of mine, and his wife purchased a sofa/loveseat combo to the tune of a few thousand dollars. Upon receiving the furniture, they notice that it leans to one side when sat in. Further review shows that it has a broken foot, and a missing mounting bolt on the bottom. When they go back to the store to get assistance, they are met with incompetence, rudeness, and just an overall non-willingness to help alleviate the matter. They were told that "it was fine when it was delivered." These guys are good people, they deserve better treatment than this. Their story is on Facebook for more details. Furniture City, you should do everything you can to make this right. There are several reviews out there, complaining of similar issues. A quick review even shows that this place is NOT accredited by the BBB, as of this writing. Make it right. For someone who claims "El Paso Strong"...this is weak. You can, and should do better.
