Freeway Chevron

Hey man, there are two words that I would use to describe this place. Freeway Chevron. It's a Chevron station, just off of the freeway in a very lonely little corner of Arizona. Indeed, there's not much out here at all, so it was nice to come off of the freeway and find a fuel pump. Now, this isn't in Willcox proper--at least the adorable little downtown area--rather, this is an off-the-freeway spot. If you're in the neighborhood (and you really have to be here on purpose) then you'll appreciate the easy off, easy on traveling through southeast Arizona. I was eastbound, and the last gas looked to be in Benson. Can't say for sure where the next gas is headed to New Mexico.Also, it appears they have a mechanic's shop there. So if you need a mechanic, I'm not sure what other options you have but they seemed to beam pride in what they do. I didn't use them, so YMMV and proceed with normal sense.

Great all around stop.Gas is as cheap as Wilcox ( 50-70 cents cheaper than Tucson) ,good coffee,really nice groceries including fresh produce,a unbelievable hardware store,some ranch clothes and a good Subway.... outstanding

Came for gas and for the littles.to.use the restroom. Cashier was very friendly and another employee was very helpful. The bathrooms were clean and smelled cleaned. Great for a stop.

Stopped for gas on my way to NM....the guy inside was really nice and helpful. It was Monday, June 11th around 6pm?? Thanks man! =)

Great little road stop. Came by for my daughter to use the restroom. THe place was a lotb eter then we expected. The restrooms were clean and the best par was the staff was really help full. I'll make to to use this stop on my way back home.

Great traditional gas station from a time gone by.....actually clean and all the paper towels and windshield washer bins were full and clean. Passed through here on a cross county motorcycle trip. They even appear to have a 2 bay garage and mechanic on staff. Inside was clean and attendant was very nice. Def stop here instead of the big impersonal gas stations down the interstate. Saved this location as a stop to remember next time I'm out west.

When I stopped to get propane that I absolutely had to have on a long trip, no one in the whole place had even one mask on during this major pandemic. I have many friends, family, and coworkers who have lost loved ones to the virus or have gotten very sick with multiple organ failure from it. When I went to the counter to pay, I asked about it. I got only this response: "Here in Cochise County, we believe a little bit differently than you do". To the owner: This refusal to not put political or so-called religious beliefs ahead of the well being of your customers speaks directly to your character as an American and as a human being. This virus is real, and no amount of closed mindedness is going to protect you from it. To my fellow travelers who take precautions with yourselves and others, I'd avoid Cochise County and any of the other Covid denying insane businesses.
