It's not a bad place but I think it's more of a bar than a place to eat. I get it it's hard times maybe finding help but they had no birra tacos, they had no shrimp, the water smelled funny or my glass did but I ended up ordering soda instead. If I were to go back I would order the bbq chicken skewer and the nachos. That's about it. I'm assuming that their signature dish is El Cubano sandwich... it's huge. I did not order it, it was a co-worker. She liked it.

Have you been to a place that was so hyped but failed miserably? Well, I experienced that tonight at Fowl Mouths. Parking was hard and when I went to the back, I went to the wrong side and got into the bbq area somehow, the waitress there told me that I had to go around, since it was a dead end. I'm telling you this because knowing that it was my 1st time there, when I saw her inside later, not only did she ignore me but all the waitresses and bartenders ignored me for at least 15 mins. The bartender was busy when I came inside and she acknowledged that I was there and then completely ignored me for the rest of the night. It seems like Cheers where if you're a regular or a friend, you'll be treated well, otherwise you'll be ignored. After 15-20 mins of waiting for someone to give me a menu, acknowledge me, anything I stood up at the table to leave, then someone said oh did you need a drink or menu? I said, " yes I need a menu", and she gave me one and ran down the list of non alcoholic drinks. After waiting for another 10 mins of waiting for her to stop flirting with the other customers, she never came back and just started drinking again with them, the same waitress that was outside then came up and asked me if I was served yet. I said no and she then immediately said she was out of chicken and birria tacos. It's not the 1st time I've heard of them running out of food, but was disappointing, nonetheless.I quickly ordered the appetizer Carnes al Pincho which is like a bbq pork meat skewer and a Virgin Pina Colada in case they forgot about me again. I saw another couple waiting and leaving quickly since they had the same "service". It was loud inside and outside (think club level) but the music was good. I got a call from a friend and stepped outside to get it and by the time I got back the food was ready but the drink wasn't.It looked and smelled good and the portion was big for $6. I asked for utensils and they gave me some plastic ones. The 1st 2 pieces were chewy and fatty the last 2 pieces were inedible, just gristly and the plastic knife couldn't cut through it was that tough. I couldn't finish it and threw the rest away. The garlic bread was good though! While I was eating the 1st 2 pieces the waitress came back with the Pina Colada. The 1st few sips were delicious, creamy with a pineapple finish. That stopped when I hit the ice chips. It wasn't smoothly blended but chunky and that was most of the drink. I kept having to wait for it to melt in order to not clog up the straw, the ice chunks were too thick. Very frustrating. At the end she got my check and the total for one appetizer and one NON ALCOHOLIC drink was $14! The drink alone was $8 and none of the drinks had any pricing or menu. I went to this place because some friends recommended them and I guess if you're friends from what I saw you'll be treated well, but if you're a new client, be prepared to wait. For the entire experience, it took over an hour for one drink and one appetizer and it wasn't busy at all. This area has so many amazing bars and options, I hope they start treating it like a business and not just a personal hangout. I'm not sure I'll come back since it was a really reall disappointing experience. fowl mouths eptx(915) 519-0083800 N Piedras St, El Paso, TX 79903https://maps.app.goo.gl/TywZG3XnD1A4kspi9

10 bux for 3 tacos? They were good fresh and the salsa was definitely on point. It's a good place for drinks after work. Service was good and entertaining.

Trying to find Fat Bear Burgers and Tacos, but both locations in El Paso were closed. Fowl Mouth replaced one of the locations, so we tried it. The hours are 10am to 2am daily. Football games are shown here along with the PPV UFC fights with no cover charge. There is also a Touchtunes internet jukebox. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. The tiny parking lot and construction made for a challenge getting in and out safely. The staff greeted us and were very friendly. They have a good selection of both bottled beer and cold drafts along with a full liquor bar. Had the Paloma specialty drink along with a Bud Light draft. Both were very good. The menu wasn't as selective as I would have hoped. There wasn't even an option for wings. The staff recommended the smoked chicken and it did not disappoint. It was very juicy and flavorful. The fried plantains were also a pleasant surprise. The rice was edible but nothing to write home about. The spicy chicken sandwich was not spicy, but was ok all the same. The waffle fries were delicious.I used the restroom and there was absolutely no toilet paper. It was just after 11am. This should be on a daily checklist. The prices were actually reasonable (Under $50 for everything including the alcohol). With only three parties, I find it unacceptable that they charged my card for another party's tab. Although it was cancelled, I now have two pending charges on my account. I'll have to follow this to be sure both don't go through.Fowl Mouth is merely ok overall. There are some specialty drinks that I still want to try so we may be back to give another chance.

So bummed because the chicken here is usually superior to every chicken place in El Paso. Smoky flavor with a little kick of spice. But today, I go in for my usual to go and was told that they are only allowed to give one small ramekin of red and green salsa per order no matter the size of chicken (i ordered the full chicken). Yet on every empty table, they have full bottles of salsa that isnt chilled and should be tossed at the end of day. So where is the waste? The empty tables or the to go orders.Anywho, I just accepted I would eat the chicken without salsa which was fine because its just as delicious. To my disappointment, the chicken was raw. Hopefully this was just an off day, but extremely disappointed if this is the direction this place is headed.

New kids on the block they said they've been open about a month. We ordered a whole roasted chicken and the chicken was worth the 20 minute wait. It's juicy, crispy skin and a great flavor. They serve it with sour cream, pico, a green salsa and corn tortillas. We also ordered the loaded yucca fries. I've never had yucca fries but I loved them. Huge portion, definitely a hearty appetizer. We had initially ordered tostones and they were delicious BUT only four (4) to an order seemed very skimpy and left me wanting more. I think they should consider a 5/6 pcs tostones serving. It was literally $1.00 per toston which is a little steep in my opinion. The yucca fries were huge but the tostones left me wanting more, serving sizes were just inconsistent in my opinion. I would definitely come back. I loved the variety of latin music (my bf not so much). Give them a try!

Ordered some Margarita's on the rocks those were really good. Definitely a place to hang out and listen to music. They do have food. When I went the chicken was dry, they didn't give us any salsa or toppings. They gave tortillas. What makes them different is the tostones nachos I will be going back for those so good. The rice and beans are good time I tried at a different time.

What an amazing experience. The chicken is so flavorful, the pork sticks were awesome, the Birra Tacos mmmmmmm, and the yuca fries is a must try. Definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the smell of the wood fire only adds to the amazing flavor of the POLLO.

Chicken is awesome and it is prepared various ways through out the world. This place is will not only stun your taste buds and quite possibly even break the taste bud barrier. Im am serious here. The food, the service and absolute love you get when you walk in is reminiscent to being at a family gathering. The chicken knocked me into another dimension. The birria tacos sent me yet to another dimension questioning my portions. The the beans and rice just send your brain into a flavor frenzy where you find yourself just unable to stop eating. It's amazing, the atmosphere, the food. I cannot stress after traveling this planet how good this place is. You must stop by, they bring that New York Flavor and style. Fantastic food all day and night, karaoke and bands at night. Parking will be kinda rough towards the evening but you are in 5 points El Paso which is ok. I assure you that you will not be disappointed unless you are a Karen... we got those around still and sometimes the silver spoon just is not enough.

My experience was definitely more foul and less fowl. I leave a soft spot for PR food and sabor boricua (now closed) delivered. This joint can't hold a candle to that food! Came in specifically for a carne guisada special that I was craving. It was a ridiculously small portion and more of a mexican beef stew. It was tasteless and meat was tough. The tostones were about the size of a half dollar, tasted rancid, and were dripping with oil. The only upside was the bartender working was super nice. Food was overpriced garbage!
