My son recently passed and my ex-husband first agreed on funeral arrangements but then blindsided me and changed his mind the day of the funeral. I spent the next month fighting on my own and trying to find an attorney. I finally found Forbes and Forbes who said they would assist me. I spent 1,500.00 for them to not provide any assistance and act like it was an inconvenience to respond to me. My ex-husband conceded without the law office assistance and so I spent all that money for them to demand that I do everything on my own and provide them with the paperwork. I felt like it was a waste of money nor did they assist me in a timely manner in the most difficult time of my life. I would not recommend them as a law firm.

I have been working with both Susan and Stewart Forbes since 2010 for a variety of legal issues. I have found both of them to be competent and willing to work with me, as a client. Susan and I tend to finish each other's sentences. They always communicate; always complete; always take the additional steps to get the job done.

I gave Susan Forbes a bad review in 2018,in the handling of my father's estate. To find out that the estate attorney for independent executor represents the executor plus ensures the w ill is handled appropriately. Texas law does not represent the executor and beneficiaries. Susan Forbes was fully compliant representation of the estate . I give her a middle rating due to her not representing the beneficiaries however it was not fair to rate her poorly. I would not count her out as an Probate attorney to represent the affairs of an estate
