I have worn glasses and contacts for 56 years. I have lived in and seen optometrists in 8 or so places over the years. Now retired and a bit more budget conscious, I figured, "Why not check out WalMart?" (turns out arrangement is the eye doctor has an independent practice under the same roof).Glad I did.Nice office, thorough exam, good communication. My wife and I are both MDs, and he saw us together, which was cool. He neither omitted info, assuming we knew, or dumbed it down. He seems skilled at matching his style to the person. Again, his exam was meticulous, and his explainations were exactly what we needed.Finally, outome. Best damn glasses ever, beating my all time favorite from seven years ago. Over to the optical shop, where prices reminded me that it was Walmart. Frame selection was good, service excellent, and the glasses were ready a day earlier than promised.About as good as it gets.

Absolutely the best experience I've had with an optometrist. I had my eyes checked at another place because they were the only place in Las Cruces that took our insurance and it was terrible. So our family went here despite the fact it was out-of-network. We were not disappointed. The whole staff was very professional and the optometrist even gave me guidance on ordering glasses online. Needless to say, we won't need to search any further for decent eye care.

My experience with this provider never made it past the receptionist's desk. This provider's website offers a great feature by allowing customers to schedule an appointment online. So, I made an appointment for early April in March. If only that online feature had worked. My wife & I showed up for the appointment; however, when we arrived at the office, we were told that no appointment had been scheduled because the online scheduling was not operational. Disappointed but decided to schedule appointments in May. We arrived in the office for our appointments scheduled in person only to learn that the practice stopped accepting our healthcare plan January 1. What was worse was that after multiple times speaking with the same receptionist who advised us that our plan was no longer accepted, she failed on each occasion to inform us of that limitation. Moreover, the practice's website indicates that our insurance plan was accepted. On the day that we were turned away that plan remains on the website as accepted. This review is not intended to evaluate services provided because we never got to the point to meet the optometrist. The incompetence displayed by his receptionist prevented us from being seen by the provider and for that reason I cannot recommend this service to others.

Dr. Jesse Sowards in honestly the best eye doctor I have ever seen. He always makes me feel comfortable and right at home both times I have come in and I will most definitely recommend him to anybody needing to see an optometrist ! Office is also very clean and well kept.

Five stars for the team at FF eyecare! We're in town on vacation and our teenager forgot to pack his daily contacts or glasses. FF eyecare helped us out in a pinch
