The staff are very friendly but you do feel a bit rushed through the process and as other reviewers have said their prices for glasses and contacts are quite high. I don't mind the $59 fee for the additional exam because seeing the intervals of your eye is a valid exam and the only one anyone should be mad at that it's $59 is their insurance provider for not valuing your vision enough to cover it. I have worn contacts in the past but I was a bit shook what when the technician brought my new lenses to try she just handed them to me standing in the exam room with no table or mirror to use. Luckily I've been wearing them for many years so I require neither but she didn't even ask me to wash my hands first. I had to ask if it was ok.The glasses were super expensive and the process was kind of rushed and didn't feel very customized for the price we were paying. No real help in selecting frames that best fit our faces. No measuring. Just very hands off. I don't require or even want someone up my butt when shopping but the complete lack of attentiveness was odd.When picking up our glasses it felt rushed. No real checking to see if things looked ok, just a quick gut check and on your way. $1,400 later I would say I would comeBack for the exam but never again for the lenses or glasses

Won't ever do business with this place again.Had a appt for vision exam at 1:40 past Friday and arrived 9 MIN late because of traffic and they said they wouldn't see me because they have a ( get this) a 5 minute window for being late!!!And here's another thing.I went last year and I checked in and waited 20 minutes to be seen.What hipocraracy. Also they are VERY EXPENSIVE..So you should find elsewhere. For me never again!!

It a scam. They send me bills for eye photos when I had insurance. The price they quote you is a scam. They will keep charging. Don't make the same mistake I did and go somewhere else.

ok so my husband was assigned this place and what a way to screw over a VA. Hidden fees and charges and to top it off received a text message of his overly priced glasses for the place to be closed. the worst place to go!! Go to Sam's open on a Saturday and get your glasses at Walmart.

Their business hours are from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. It does not give anyone time to visit the business that works. I talked to an associate about adjusting the business hours and I let her know that I had to take leave in order to get a eye exam And she said those are our hours and I suggested that they their hours to maybe 9 to 6 but she said that those are our hours and I said it must be about you all and not the customer and I also stated they must make a lot of money, and she said no that's not the case. I scheduled an appointment for my wife and I called to let them know that she was running a few minutes late because she had a little medical issue and they said if she is 10 minutes late that they would she would have to reschedule. I asked if there was anyone after her they stated no and I said well why can't you see her on the Appt? The clerk only said those are the rules if you're 10 minutes late you have to reschedule And this was at 3 PM. They have two more hours but they cannot see her for an appointment because the rules states 10 minutes or you reschedule. I will certainly find another doctor to do business with from now on.Not willing to adjust for the customer.

I had an appointment with Dr. Phan today and was really happy with my experience. The facility was extremely clean and there were employees walking around disinfecting. Reception desk employees were really nice, confirmed my information, and explained my insurance coverage and fees that would be due after my exam. I was brought back by a tech and had a few images taken and tests performed. It was really quick and painless. Dr. Phan came in and she was awesome. She's very personable and took the time to make sure I understood everything she was doing. We ran through all of the usual tests quickly. Dr. Phan walked me out to the lobby area and got me set up with a tech to pick out frames and lenses. We reviewed my insurance coverage in detail. All potential fees and add ons were clearly explained and written down. I appreciated the transparency and thorough explanation. She helped me find frames in my price range, got me fitted, and ordered my new glasses. I even spent less money than I was anticipating. Overall, I was very happy with the service!

My first time visiting this place and was treated like a human being. The staff was beyond awesome my doctor was down to earth. The assistant nurse was great as well the front desk too.

I went in for an annual exam which I do my anual exam every year. I have two insurances in which I understood they will only bill one insurance which Is crazy! I just wanted a new prescription so I went in and had my retinol imaging included which I nerve requested!!! And turns out they charged me $29 for that! I then waited for the doctor over 45 minutes and it wasn't crazy busy, he then came and to my surprise he was extremely nice and very helpful however things changed when I dealt with his assistant whom I explained I was not interested in getting eye glasses since I was considering doing lasik eye surgery in a few months she was very pushy I wasn't even lead to checkout I was approached immediately by his assistant Jessica. Which I explained I'm not looking for eyeglasses so she showed me sunglasses so I tried them on and asked what would my insurance cover. I wanted a quote and that's when she started being pushy she sat me down and was like oh it'll only be $55 I'm like ok that's fine I gave her my card and all of a sudden she starts up charging me more additional stuff when I just wanted the sunglasses and pay the $10 for my eye exam. All of a sudden my total comes to $119 I'm like"what?!" that's not what you told me. At this point she's already charged my card and I was instantly upset how she didn't take the time to explain things and was so quick to charge my card. Then she's like well we can refund you it will take 7 days at this point I'm ready to leave. So I just took the paper where she stated I would get a refund and left. I do not recommend this place! The doctor is nice but the staff needs additional training on how to explain cost to a customer! I will not be returning, you can get better service elsewhere and if you don't speak about what they're charging you chances are you're being charged something you didn't requested!

First: the V.A. scheduled this appointment so that left me out of the decision. Two: I'm very pleased with their decision, best of all because I did have to pay. Three: I couldn't have been more pleased; I was treated with respect in a most professional manner and received the most thorough eye exam of my life, and I'm now 79-years oldest. Truly, the entire exam took a over an hour, so I was not rushed. In short, I couldn't be more-pleased. So why all the negative reviews? Perhaps they just didn't like the large, modern, and highly presentable office. Who knows but I know that I liked everything about EYELAND Optical. In B

I have been going to Eyeland for years and this last visit has to shown me that they do not value their customers! To be clear, the doctors are fantastic there! They are attentive, detailed and kind! Their staff on the other hand is the issue!I received my prescription on May 19th and have yet to receive my contacts or glasses! I was told that one of my contacts is on back order and that they would inquire with lab on an ETA, and then follow up with me! I was told that twice and no follow up! I called a third time, was told by a gentleman that the office was out to lunch and someone would call me back. Guess what, no call! I understand there are things beyond their control! However, if you say you are going to follow up then follow up! Why does the customer have to call 3 times!!!Even worse, they don't seem to concern with giving me what I paid for or provide me another solution!!!I've recommended multiple people because the doctors are great but that will come to an end!
