Ernie's Muffler & Brake

Took my 2016 WRX to get an alignment done. Was able to show up and have them put my car on their machine. Took less than an hour and the did a great job. I recommend calling and setting up an appointment, they are busy.

I just moved to El Paso, and was dreading finding an honest mechanic in a new city and state. I asked around, and several people recommended Ernie's. I took my Jeep in and explained the problem. I got a call back a couple hours later with a very fair price and what needed to be done. I gave the go ahead and a couple hours after that it was done. They were fast and professional, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

Hit a speed bump and cracked my exhaust. They took care of it here and my car feels brand new. Will be bringing my car back here. They're very busy so prepare to wait. Worth it though.

Beware of deceptive pricing and huge markups on auto parts. Ask for an itemized bill and make them explain each line item on the bill. When I did this, I found several inappropriate costs and huge markups. I questioned the items, but I got conflicting explanations, none of which made sense.

Best Auto Service in Town! There's no job they can't get done. I began taking my German car to Ernie when most other shops turned me away. Ernie's work is top notch and affordable as well. He has gained a customer for life because of his work ethic and reliability. Two things that are hard to come by in this town.

These guys are the best welders I have found in El Paso thus far. They are friendly and fair in price.

I had taken my car to five, yes five, different garages and was told five different issues with my car. Each issue was getting worse and more expensive than the next. So, someone recommended me to Ernie's. Not only did Ernie not charge me extra to diagnose, he found the issue less than an hour. The price he quoted me was the cheapest and he fixed the issue within two hours. I had been dealing with this issue for six months my car only getting worse and not only was the price reasonable, the service was phenomenal. I would recommend Ernie's out of all other places in El Paso. They are quick, efficient, honest and friendly. I will definitely return back for maintenance.

Took my vehicle there three times for the same AC issue, and I was charged the first two times. The third time, they wanted $1,000 more, in addition to what I had already paid. I elected to have another garage fix my AC. And it is finally fixed, no thanks to Ernie. Ernie acted like he might refund some of the money he charged. Guess what? We never heard another peep. He actually gave us a BS story that the AC kept going out because the vehicle needed to be started every day. Okay, not buying that one. It is started almost every day. Again, makes no sense especially when AC is not used every day of the year.

Bad customer service made me come back 2 days because they had to much work came back said the same thing that they wouldn't get to it because now he had a graduation to attend i showed up when they opened no one was actually working on the cars just wasting peoples time
