My experience with Emily's-extremely bad. I ordered invitations for my daughters quince. Initially the woman was helpful. The proof was to be ready for me in one week. After I approved the proof, my invitations would take another wk to be completed(didn't happen!) When I reviewed the proof, I was disappointed. The invitation was very plain & generic. They were pretty embarrassing actually. The cardstock that was used for the outside of the invitation was cheap & the inscription inside was on regular copy paper, font was small and everything was scrunched up in the middle, too much wasted space up on top & at bottom. Anyhow, I requested some corrections such as making the font bigger & using as much space in the inside of the invitation as they could. I also commented on the cardstock & copy paper. The woman's response was that it was just a "proof" & told me the actual invitation would be better (they were'nt)I also asked them to add a design on the cover of the invite because it was just to plain & generic. At this time I also told them that I decided to go with 75 in Spanish & 75 in English. I had also provided all the wording for them to use in both languages. The young lady/assistant gathered all my material & also noted the corrections. And told me she would contact me when the proof was ready. Once again, it took longer than she said it would. When I went to look at the 2nd proof, I dealt with the older woman (not sure if I can mention names) but she is the owner/mgr who was quite disturbed that I had made some complaints and changes. Her attitude was very unpleasant. She was visibly irritated & also sarcastic. She began to tell me that the changes were not approved by her & they shouldn't have done them. Hello? I am the paying customer! As long as I pay for my product there should be no problem with me complaining or requesting anything. On top of that, the proof was WRONG again! They went ahead and decorated the outside and corrected some misspelled words but they forgot to capitalize some other words. So, once again they had to make more corrections. The 3rd time I saw the proof, I just approved it. I was not completely satisfied, but by this time I'm running out of time we had 3 weeks left before the actual event date. The invitations should have already gone out by now, but instead I was still struggling. I attempted to maintain constant communication with these people by e-mail , text &calls but the owner/mgr never responded to any of my attempts. I had to resort to dealing w/ her assistant. I finally picked up the invitations & took them home. Upon reviewing the invitations, I noticed that they were becoming unglued. From everywhere!! Not just 1 or 10 or 20,all of them had to be re-glued by me and my daughter! The inside, the outside, the decorations EVERYTHING! We redid them all! I was so upset. I contacted the assistant in the am & expressed my disappointment. These invitations could have been done better by my 3 yr old niece! I also sent her pictures, so she could see the disaster! Another thing I found was that the reception passes were only in Spanish. They did not give me any English for the English invites. I guess they thought it would be ok to send out English invites with Spanish passes! I was also shorted 25 invitations. I never heard back from anyone & w/ time being so short, I decided to drive to the shop and speak to the owner/mgr once again. I explained the situation to her and she was extremely rude. She argued that I couldn't be short invitations, because she counted them. Well if she counts the way she spells, that explains the shortage. She accused me of trying to con her out of invitations. She said she would have to ask the ppl who she sub-contracted to do the invitations to come up with a resolution. And whatever they decided would be the final outcome. I was extremely appalled. I don't care who she sub-contracted! My dealings were with her, I signed a contract & PAID her not her sub-contractor!! Just when I thought she couldn't get any more repulsive she did. She wld not let me get a word in, she argued and argued and wld not even listen to what I was saying. She was talking over me and wld not reason with me. Until... a customer walked in...then, she changed her tune!Totally predictable! But she couldn't remain calm, she exploded once again. Her behavior was unethical & unbelievably unprofessional. She finally agreed that she would make things right & get me the missing invites but it would take a week! A week for 25 invitations plus the 9 that couldn't be repaired by us! When I picked them up, they had no envelopes or seals. Lady said I wld have to wait 1.5hrs if i wanted them. I left, came back, she still hadn't arrived, claiming car trouble. What a joke! Assistant ended up dropping off the envelopes(no seals) at 9:00pm! It was the most unprofessional dealing I had ever had in my life. I wld NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! BBB will also hear about this.

So this is to update my review from 2 years ago. Yes, thats correct 2 years ago. I had actually completely forgotten this whole mess, but Emily's Flowers called me today. Initially, the woman said because of my review they weren't getting business (shocking), but here is the real reason they aren't getting any business. 2 years after the fact, a person from Emily's called me - to harass me. Yes, thats correct-harass. I supposedly wrote in my review they charge me (read my review I didn't). She said my review was incorrect. So here I am correcting my review. I ordered flowers for my uncle's funeral. They were never delivered. I called to complain and they accused me of getting the funeral information incorrect. It wasn't incorrect. I know this for a fact because I was at the funeral. They never charged me for my flowers but I had to simply check my bank account EVERY DAY since no one ever returned my 5 calls for 5 months. Lucky for me, 6 months later I FINALLY got a call saying I wasn't charge. WHEW! Good thing she called because I never could have figured that out. Oh wait, I did. 4 months ago by checking my account everyday. Today out of no where, Emily's flowers called to tell me my review was incorrect because I wrote they charged me for flowers they never delivered. Um, not sure what review they are reading but I didn't write that. I wrote I called to confirm I wasn't charge. She continued to repeat herself 20 times saying my review was wrong. I trying speaking and she cut me off 5 times. I had to yell at her to let me speak. She stopped speaking for 5 secs. I asked her the point of the call several times. She never gave one. I asked her if she wanted me to change the review, she said no. But she kept bringing up the review over and over again. I asked her again, so why did she call me a year later (I didn't at the time realize it was 2 YEARS AGO!). She said to tell me my review was wrong about customer service and charging me. No I wasn't, her customer service skills are horrible and the review wasn't incorrect. At this point I was beyond frustrated for wasting my time on this person. I seriously asked her how in the world is she still in business? She proceeded to tell me "forget it!" and hung up on me. Hmmm....still want to say you are great at customer service. So Emily's you claimed my initial review as incorrect. How's this one then? Correct enough for you? You didn't deliver flowers to the funeral, you said the funeral info was wrong, you never charged me and it took 5 phones calls from me and 6 months to get you to confirm this and last but not least you couldn't just let it go and learn from this situation. Instead you proceeded to call me 2 years at to harass me.So people needing flowers in El Paso, TX - would you order flowers from Emily's flowers based on my experience? Its completely up to you. Because according to Emily's Flowers - ITS ALL MY FAULT! But lasted I checked, I haven't dealt with you in 2 years. I am amazed you have been in business this long.
