Elotes El Vaquero

It is very well known that elotes and churros are 2 of the most important food groups constituting a balanced diet, but with my modern, constantly on-the-go lifestyle, it's pretty hard to get my recommended daily servings. Luckily El Vaquero sells only elotes and churros, and since they're a food truck, they're available on-the-go!We found El Vaquero parked on Far East Zaragoza, when after a delicious dinner at Don Carbon we detected a faint churros aroma in the air, and then we saw El Vaquero with a giant sign that said "Churros," we had to investigate...Not only are the churros all warm and fresh, but they also have lots of filling flavors, I didn't even know a strawberry-filled churro could even exist, but it does and El Vaquero has it. We got a strawberry and a cajeta churro, both were delicious, and only $2 each! We haven't tried the elotes yet, but definitely next time, they looked very good.The lesson here is: Always stop for trucks that have signs saying "Churros."

Their churros are so good! Lechera is so good and and prices are great compared to most. The corn on the other hand is not so good.. too much juice, made it more like a soup. Also, their chili that they put on is an awkward combination. Corn is too hard and all together not so great. On the plus side, their service is great. Very nice workers

Lemonade was delicious.. also corn was great. We will definitely be back and they're open fairly late which is a plus
