Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort

This is one of the nicer rv parks we've been to. Extremely well kept grounds and lots of amenities (nice shower house, pool, dog park and wash, paved paths, etc). This park is perfect for a campers that prefer a tight knit community of regulars and a quiet campsite. The sites are very close together, making it challenging to spread out.

Wonderful folks and wonderful place. Mark, Brian, Kealy and all the staff were great. I stayed here for 2 months while working in the area. When switching from day to night shift, neighbors and staff were super considerate of me needing to sleep during the day. The resort is immaculate. Lots of winter regulars who went out of their way to include me and make sure I was doing okay. Super clean laundry and showers. The pool and hot tub were always sparkling as well! Definitely worth the money as lots of other resorts weren't even half as well kept, and all dirt. Paved roads and gravel spots prevented tracking desert dust all over truck and trailer. Staff went around every morning sweeping the roads and clearing out pine needles from the gravel. I've never seen such immaculate grounds in a rv resort.

Super friendly, super clean, super amenities, super great dog park, super WiFi, super dog wash, SUPER PLACE to pull into for a night or more. A great stop.

We had planned to stay at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort one week. But the monthly rate was such a bargain that we committed for a month. We ended up almost three months from November through January. We have stayed in many parks from Alaska, Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona. This is without doubt the best park we have stayed in. I can't say enough positive about the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The park has wide paved roads, level gravel spaces. There are long pull-through spaces for folks just spending the night without unhooking. There three very reliable Wi-Fi routers. The indoor pool was my favorite feature. It was always WARM and clean. The restrooms and laundry were always spotless. The activities calendar is very full and well attended. This is the most truly "Dog Friendly" park we have stayed in. They even have a fancy dog wash and several fenced off leash exercise areas. We would recommend this park to any RV traveler looking for a well maintained, clean, friendly place to stay. It is only four miles off I-25, two hours south of Albuquerque. This RV resort is amazing. Cleanest and best maintained RV resort we have ever been to. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy check in and out. Definitely recommend

One of the best resorts that we've been to. Great showers, Laundry and dog runs. It's exceptionally clean and you see them daily cleaning up the area. Recommend this resort to everyone who needs a nice place to stay near Elephant Butte State Park.

I would give this RV Resort 10 stars if I could Cannot believe they only have one review. This park is fabulous. The people running it r friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at 47 parks in the past 6 months and this by far with just 2 others is our favorite. I just paid for 3 more nights. Across from lake and state park, easy walk to town and also few steps from a wonderful bar / restaurant IVORY TUSK!! The laundry room and restroom/showers r nicer and cleaner then most hotels. Big sites and lovely landscaped property. I highly highly recommend this Resort. Dog friendly, cable and even dvds u can borrow. WIN WIN. 10 stars. So we r back again 11 months later. Just as fabulous. Wonderful walks into town and to the lake and state park. There is a lovely golf course an easy walk to. The grounds r just as nice if not better. We r now past our 100 RV parks in 2 years and this is still one of our favorites !!!!!

The best RV park we've ever stay at. Only reserved for a month but extended it for 5 months. Office staff made you feel like family. Great accommodations and activities. We've made wonderful friends forever. Lots to do around the area and the state park is right across the street. Definitely will stay here again. Feels like home. AA+++
