From the outside it's nothing much to look at and the inside isn't much either but surprisingly our food was pretty good. I got the cheese enchilada dish and Bobbie the flautis dish both with rice and beans. The beans were actually some of the best I've had in a long time and the rice was good, needed more seasoning but still good. The enchiladas were tasty but also lacking seasoning. The flautis were probably the best part as they had lots of meat fries nice and crispy and great flavor. So overall for Pecos where the choices are very limited it was good food. Not sure where all the reviews saying no flavor came from but maybe they need to go back to El Torito.

Olde run down hole in the wall. Great staff and pretty good food. Stopped in off the highway passing through. I'd stop again.

I love this place. Ok to be fair I did not eat here. This is the pickup spot for the Greyhound bus. I'm waiting here now. The restaurant outside is spacious not overcrowded like at other restaurants in the area. The sidewalk is made up of a standard concrete material and relatively clean to put our bags and sit on. We are offered complimentary shade from the building, which is a nice perk. I definitely recommend this spot.

Horrible food. Had green Chicken enchilada plate. When I looked at the chicken at first couldn't figure out where the meat came from but later thought it was from the neck. Rice was dried out and hard. Bad meal did not eat.The building is big but beat up. Every wall looks like someone pounded holes on it. The floor has a ditch in it where they must have extended the room and never finished.Should have asked for health inspectors report.

Almost got lost trying to find this place. Was a bit sketchy at first although once we got inside the staff was very friendly. Food tasted good and we were so hungry we never really paid attention to anything else but the food

Ordered 2 PC fried chicken with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. Had a cold Bud light as well. All but one table was dirty, most still covered with dishes and soda bottles.Took 35 minutes to get my food. There was one other table of 3 men eating at the buffet. The plate arrived and the Mac n cheese was luke warm and very runny, tasted like box. The mashed potatoes were from a package as well as the gravy, both Luke warm. The chicken had good crunch but little flavor, it WAS cooked thoroughly threw. No tables were cleared or washed while I was there. For the price I should have went to Sonic and at least had faster service and hot food. Will never go back.

I got there one night after shift, had the buffet they were offering, i had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, also on the side were enchiladas, rice and beans, beef caldo (stew). On the salad side i tried the elbow macaroni, cole slaw and pasta salad, they were pretty good. Also the peach cobbler added a nice touch. The buffet with a drink was 12.95....i had my fill. It being Pecos, Texas......eating choices aren't that great and every place you go is packed. Rodeo was a good option that night and i plan to return. If you dont want the buffet you can choose from the menu they have.

Located in the old McDonald's that closed. Can you imagine a McDonald's closing? Welcome to Pecos, Texas!Rodeo is the unique combination of Mexican food and ... fried chicken. Trying to fill a niche with the fried chicken and unable to pull away from what every mom and pop diner in West Texas does, and that is serve some Mexican food. Not bad, just not memorable. Go here if the others are closed.
