a plate of mexican food

We ate here for lunch after we tried a few other places that didn't work out. We don't speak Spanish, which made eating here interesting, but between translation apps and the staff's efforts to help us, we were able to order pretty confidently. Our waitress was friendly. Eating here felt like a very authentic experience. If sure our Mexican food was just like it would have been across the border. They gave us chips and a spicy green salsa, which tasted like it was made in house. I ordered a combination plate with a taco, flauta, gordita and an enchilada. They were all good, but I liked the enchilada the least; it was considerably smaller than im used to. It had the more mild red sauce; spicier green sauce was available. The rice and refried beans were also good. My wife got a quesadilla that was very good. Also she complained about it being too spicy, I liked it. In fact, if I had ordered that, I might have given this place 5 stars. So if you don't mind a little heat, order the quesadilla. I would eat here again; hopefully this review helps others find this place.

The food here is excellent! Our family ordered some birria tacos and tortas and every single thing tasted amazing. The bread for the tortas tasted like a bakery fresh roll and the birria was delicious. It's just a small little place but the food is worth the trip.
