El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank is remarkable organization dedicated to a very noble cause. I first volunteered here with UT Austin recruits who were looking to meet their community service graduation requirement, and it was a tremendously rewarding experience, I've been coming regularly since, conducting food collection drives along the way. I was looking for a nonreligious community service opportunity that isn't just set up for people completing court-mandated service. and if you are looking for the same, I recommend volunteering at EPFHFB. If your schedule doesn't allow, then check out some of their food drive events, hopefully you can help.Volunteer tasks include cleaning, sorting, and packaging donations so that they may be distributed to those who need it. There's always something to do, and the folks who work here are tremendously appreciative of volunteers. Plus it's good Karma :)
