Another wonderful experience on the El Paso Streetcar. We rode the car into downtown for FREE, as usual, and it put us right within one block of the action for the EP Día de los Muertos events. When we were done with the evening, we hopped on the events streetcar and were entertained by the lovely notes of Adriana Nevarez. She sang a variety of songs for the occasion. It was pretty awesome.Liz and the kids were dancing, I got into it as well. We were distracted with the Nevarez tunes, but I know that the Wi-Fi was up, if I needed it The streetcar was clean and the riders were super respectful - all there for a good time. We tracked our cars with the Sun Metro app.Love the EP Streetcar.

I love the Streetcar. Each car is truly beautiful and a lovely retro experience :) I am lucky to live at one of its stops and frequent many places along its route.Pros:So clean (glistening, kudos to its maintenance team), so charming, amazing friendly drivers (conductors?), runs much later than you would expect a circulator to do and currently it is still FREE. Also beautifully decorated for the holidays. Current hours can be found Cons:Sometimes there's a wait. There are usually three running, but sometimes they bunch up and the wait can get a bit long. Uber is on-demand (but not free) so sometimes I skip the Streetcar if it's cold or rainy or windy and it's a wait. There is an app that allows you to see a live map - I highly recommend it if you will use the Streetcar on a regular basis!

What an amazing addition to El Paso! If you are one of those downtowners, especially on the weekends, this is your ride!! Its free on the weekends and it brings you around a good amount of the downtown and west side area. What i love about it the most is how classy it looks and it has a great paint job. There is also this fancy part for bikes to be hooked onto the inside instead of the outside! Ive never seen anything like it! Only sucky part is how there are bars that go across all the side windows which made sight seeing quite limited. I get safety and what not but maybe 3 bars less would still have done justice. I also wished it could stretch out further than just the downtown, university area. Regardless, it was well worth a 30ish minute free ride in a clean, air conditioned bus. Cant wait to go again!

As a millennial, it is very important to me to feel nostalgic about things that I never experienced, so I took the needle off my vinyl record, prepared my typewriter to draft a Yelp review, and set to travel down memory lane on the brand-new classic El Paso Streetcar! And what a nifty ride it is! It is a leisurely trip through downtown and uptown El Paso with stops in the Cincinnati area, UTEP, the hospitals, EPCC, Southwest University Park, the main library, the bridge, and all the historic sites in between. It's definitely a cool experience, the cars themselves look great and are modernly fitted inside. So grab a nickel (and an extra $1.45) and check out the El Paso Streetcar! (Just don't be in a hurry)

These little streetcars are so darling and I love that locals seem to really utilize them for everyday errands..It's a fun way to get around the peaks and valleys within the terrain. It was easy to catch and a wonderful way to see the city! I really wish our own city San Antonio hadn't ever got rid of our street cars. Not to mention the paddle boats at Brackenridge Park and the sky rides that were also a fond memory.Maybe one day will bring them back but I highly doubt it.Anyway if you visit El Paso I highly recommend the street cars.

As out of towners we were excited to see that there was an old fashioned street car! We had a hard time finding it at first, the website isn't super helpful. But when we did find it we were excited to learn that it was free (as many attractions are in ELP). Our one regret was that we rode at night. Since the car was lit from the inside we couldn't really see anything out of the windows which kind of defeated the point for us. But we recommend checking it out!

Cute, historic, and fun. 6 friends decided to hop on the streetcar/trolley near UTEP and ride downtown for a fun night of food and bar hopping. With each trolley stop we exited and enjoyed a new place to eat or drink. We started at Little Shack for tacos, rode to Savage Goods for dessert, then on to Berkeley cocktail lounge, to 1922 from there. We were tired at this point and hopped on to ride back to our car but the rest of the group had 3 more stops to go. Definitely worth checking out and really fun for a night out in the town.Right now the trolley is free so we didn't have to pay but I think there will be a fee in the future.

My son's wanted to ride the streetcar since it made its debut last year. I kept postponing it due to my work schedule. I usually work on weekends and he's in school during the week, etc. I was also excited to finally ride it. There used to be a trolley back in the day but it was now replaced with the streetcar or the tranvia/tranbia in Spanish. It's been around since 1902...some version of it I should say. The new cars were being refurbished for quite some time. Me and many others thought it would never happen again. I'm glad we finally had the chance to do it. It's free during Winterfest so even better. I didn't know it was free until I looked online. I think the experience would've been better in the daytime. However, we were able to see some Christmas lights. The streetcar runs around the downtown and UTEP area. It runs until 1 a.m. on weekends and midnight during the week. It starts at 10 am everyday. I recommend downloading the El Paso streetcar app for more info. It tells you if there's any events happening, etc. There's only one route in town called the figure eight. The public library has fun reading events for small kids. The Coronado High band was inside the streetcar for performances a couple of days this month. I think that's really neat. The driver and people inside were cheerful. We sang "Feliz Navidad" during part of the ride. This is a fun activity to bring out of town guests to. I'm sure kids and older family members will appreciate it too. We enjoyed it a lot. I say go do it!
