El Paso Karate is okay; The staff's energy is at the right place, their class area seems crowded. Their program includes three classes per week with only three specific days and times when you can go so if you are unable to attend one class there is not any different days nor class times to make it up. The strip mall's parking lot where El paso Karate is located is also crowded, making it unsafe while dropping off and picking up the kids but we make it work. Earlier this year El Paso Karate 3 dial trial started at $55 including tax, a shirt and pants. Afterwards, their 6 month program was $175 per month. Uniform was $173 plus tax. All together to get started is a bit over $400. Kids do love the program and I am sure it is because the staff's energy and positivity. For belt testing you must register first and pay the fee; later on they hold ceremonies. Im unsure of the price for belt testing but I think the fee is like $55El Paso Karate also has other activities like kids night, nerf night, movie night etc. Activities where pretty much they watch your kids on Friday or Saturday nights while keeping them entertained. Do ensure to register and pay ahead of time, these activities get filled quick. Many families rely on El Paso Karate because there are not many other after school activities in the area.

This is a good program. Very nice family that owns it. The skills that the kids learn are good for them as well as the respect for authority and manners. I'm not very familiar with the karate scene but I'm satisfied with things so far. Hoping to get 4 and 5 star satisfaction soon!

I feel like everyone here takes their role as more then a job they genuinely care about your child and want them to succeed! In addition to the amazing growth in my child's confidence resulting in shyness that just melted away he also is learning and retain knowledge and life lesson instilled during class.

Worst experience. They have you pay $100 for shirt and pants and two weeks later of you don't buy the full karate outfit that they are not upfront about you child only gets half of the time that you paid for. The average class time is only 30 minutes not enough time. So if you don't buy the second outfit then they get cut down in time. Pay a little more And find a better school. I will not waste any more of my money or child's time.

I'm sad to be PCSing and leaving El Paso karate. Mr. Juarez takes time to meet your child individually and assess your child's needs. If your child misses class, they call to check in and see if everything is ok. I've never gone one week without hearing from Jamaica, Niko, or Marco. As far as a previous review concerning fees, you sign a contract for a one year rate. You're not forced to do that. An outside agency handles automatic payments, comparable to companies that I've used for tanning or gym memberships. It is your responsibility to contact the third-party and cancel. If you provided proof of PCS or moving, there's absolutely no issues. The staff shouldn't be blamed for a lack of reading or understanding from the other party. They offer support for home, school, and training. I would recommend Mr. Juarez and his staff to anyone in the area. Especially if your child needs to learn discipline or focus.

I am so incredibly impressed by EP Karate! My niece came out just for the summer and they offered an 8 week summer program. Before my niece (11) got here she had never played a sport, been apart of a team, she was more or less a wall flower, very over weight, with very very little confidence. She went Friday and Saturday for the last 7 weeks (this is her last week) and has made such a drastic change! She has so much confidence is already signed up to continue karate back home, shes lost weight, takes pride in herself, has so much more self discipline, has become much more active. The instructors from the very 1st moment of her being there made her feel comfortable as if she was always there. They take the time to teach them one on one to simply know their name immediately. They call regularly to check on her to update me on her progress and to see when she will be leaving. They very easily could have brushed us off knowing shed be leaving after the 8 weeks but no. They made us feel like we are a priority like every single child is the most important one there. If you want your child to gain discipline, confidence, to feel apart of something great El Paso Karate is DEFINITELY the place! If we are here when my infants get older there is no doubt in my mind they will be attending here. Thank you EP Karate!

El Paso Karate, is the best. My son has been going for 2years now, we absolutely love it. The instructors and staff are absolutely top tier! They care about their students. It's family owned, the dojo is spacious, it's clean, they're friendly and are teaching our kids more than just karate, life skills. My daughter just started karate and she was having a hard time and Ms Savanna, Mr Xavier, Mr Jordan Mr Juarez Mr Max were so patient and understanding with her, by the end of the class she came out with a big smile. I could not have found a better place for my kids. I would recommend this dojo to everyone. If I could give this dojo ten stars I would. BEST!

My two kids have been going here for 6 months. The average class is about 45 minutes, I have NEVER seen a kid taken out of class early (per previous review). As a military family, this is my children's 3rd karate school and the first that has shown a diverse weapons training (which I love!), the instructors take time out to talk with the new students to FOCUS on points that need to be worked on. They still take my boys aside when needed to help the learn steps to something new (to them) that everyone else knows.I highly recommend this school, all the instructors are WONDERFUL with kids. They are worth the money spent. One last thing, I have heard the owner say more than a couple of times that it isn't about money, it's about the kids. Personally, that speaks volumes!

This is the worst place to have any kind of business with, I had bad service, bad timing and I'm about to get send to collection, I got always the runs around. when I first open my account I was dumb enough to sign the contract by believing that this guy was going to work things with me since I'm a single mom active duty and my times vary. My children stop going to karate since October 2014, and up till December I was still making payments for something that my children were not using. I talked to the owner and explained my situation with the times and all he said was "for $50 more you can place your children in a later time" when he knew I was having trouble already with the fees (but I was still making my payments). And then he referred me to the company that handles his fees but wouldn't even try to help me out. Then in January finally I moved over 25 miles away from this forsaken place and when I brought in the stuff he said "I'm busy right now" and told his clerk to refer me to the finance place again that there was nothing he could do. When I called the place they said that I had by the end of the day to email or fax a bill with my name on it, when I explained that I had moved they said that they couldn't do anything about it and that it had to be a bill which I got like three weeks after that and when I called again (today) they said that I had like $80 of late fees and return checks and two months on top of the two I already paid due, even tho my children have not attend this place since the end of October, so my question is, since my kids didn't attend for over four months and now that my contract is done do They still get to attend for the next four months? Cause the owner said that whatever they don't use can be added by the end of the contract? I so much regret to have signed this contract and done business with this place.yes I am a grown women and I signed the contract and for this I will pay... Do not make the mistake to get in business with this person cause he will walk away from you too, he'll be all smilie and try to tell you that you are getting a deal but in realty this is a rip off...
