El Paseo Apartments

I wasn't going to write a review of my experience at El Paseo Apartments, but something happened that made me reconsider.Positives:No lease is required.All utilities are included.Landlord/manager lives on site so she is there when you lock yourself out.It's a very unique place in the midst of a sea of little boxes.It has a pool and washers and dryers.Negatives:It won't be clean when you move in.They do not pull your credit. There will be mice and they will set traps.There will be cockroaches and they will spray but they will continue to show up.There will be black shit flying out of the water cooler.You will be actively discouraged from getting renter's insurance.You many have no water pressure from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM for three months.The landlord will go into your former place of employment and make up stories and gossip about you.

This apartment complex is uniquely beautiful with a hacienda feel. The landlords live on site and do everything they can to keep the property orderly with minimal burden to residents. The prices are good, and it is a quick and easy walk to the NMSU campus. I loved living here but had to move out of state when I finished by PhD. I would recommend this place to everyone.
