El Encanto de Villa

Good food! The waitress was very nice and helpful. Nice Mexican music playing and cozy environment.

This place is fantastic! The salsa was delicious. I had the enchiladas montadas for breakfast, and they were amazing. The coffee is good, and the service is great. The inside is clean and has a nice cozy vibe.

Stopped by here for a business trip. It was close to our work site. Signs out front are what brought us in. Service was good, a little bit of a language barrier as we are only English speaking. This is a little mom and pop Mexican restaurant, very clean. They offer a lunch buffet for like $8 and that includes your drink. Salsa is a little on the spicy side. So if you don't like heat, it won't be for you. I ordered the platillo mexicano. It comes with a flauta, taco, enchilada, chile rellanos, rice and beans. Food was pretty decent. Very authentic.

This is a mom and pop shop in the area which is amazing! Cos the downtown area is super gentrified and it's harder and harder to find authentic Mexican food. This was the place I've been looking for. I got two gorditas with a cup of Jamaica. It was soooo good! The meat was really good. Can't wait to return! Customer service was amazing as well!

I like to support local Businesses rather than chain restaurants. I work downtown so I saw this place and decided to try it out. First visit, I wasn't even acknowledged so I left; it was empty by the way. A couple weeks later decided to try it again, same experience. Today, last try. Same. It's not like it was full or anything like that so I don't understand the disconnect with the customers. There was another customer there that looked frustrated and told me he's been waiting for a long time. The restaurant was empty by the way, just that one customer. I might give it another try later. Maybe they will fix their customer service. As far as the food, well couldn't tell you.

The experience my family and I had was less than to be desired at El Encanto de Villa. We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Not a single customer was in the restaurant when we walked in. We were seated and drink order was taken. We placed our food order and the wait started. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food. To top it off it was cold when we got it. Will not be back.

Clean and very decent food. Needs more variety but overall it is a great place for lunch. Good value for a mexican buffett place.

It's a nice clean little hole in the wall on A street where you wouldn't think this restaurant is located. Hidden to the side of a bar I would have never known this place was here if not for co workers bringing me for lunch. They had a simple lunch buffet that hit the spot, very home cooking style. Service wasn't great but it wasn't bad, I'll give this place another visit if I'm in the area.

The food is delicious, a variety of buffet choices if desired. I ordered from the menu, very good price !

I recently found this new place downtown and I loved it! It is hidden on Texas Ave. and we were so lucky to find it! They have a buffet with a variety of authentic Mexican food. They hand make everything even their desserts. I recommend the flan it was amazing. If you're not a buffet person don t worry, they also have choices off the menu and comida corrida which is what I got. The caldo de res is so good it reminded me of my mom's food. The service was great, the waitress was so nice and always making sure we had every thing we needed. We will definitely be back !
