We take our pup and cat here for veterinary care. They are amazing. Always helpful and always kind. We have a pretty sickly cat and they have always been willing to try new treatments with him. They even treated an injured kitten we found. It costs about the same as other veterinary services in the area, but the professional treatment and care make this our go to vet.

Take my puppies here all the time. They are very friendly and care about my animals.1st time my little greyhound had an allergic reaction to something and her face swelled up. They saw us immediately and said she just needed Benadryl and charged us a small office fee. They called the next day to make sure she was okay.2nd time we took our new puppy to be checked out. They took great care of him and were gentle and loving with this little guy who was so scared. When we brought him back for his boosters they called us ahead a time to remind us of your appointment. Answered all questions about food and neutering options. They love animals as if they were there own. They are as price affordable as vets can be. They do discuss pricing with you and don't just assume you can afford everything.Top notch from front office lady to vet assistants to veterinarians

We have used the services of many veterinarians over the years, and have had mixed results. After an especially negative and traumatic experience at one of the larger and more popular clinics, we transferred to El Abrigado where we have been consistently impressed by the doctors and staff. In addition to their knowledge, years of experience, and training, they have always been kind, caring, and willing to help. My husband (who is a retired physician) and I have been impressed by their honesty, genuineness, and sincerity. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

This vet is an arrogant ass, the staff is insensitive and patronizing. The seem like an incompetent clinic. They don't care about the animals, but they will charge way too much for every service. There are cheaper vets in the East and better vets in the west. Stay away.

After the vet calling me and telling me my dog was stabilized and that I could come pick her up she died within 10 mins of the phone call... the vet apologized charged me 1500$ and gave me back my dead dog. Yet the vet had dealt with my breed before so I stuck with them. Later that year my female needed a puppy count so I went back.(these are 3000$ dogs) the X-rays were fuzzy and the puppy count was off.. things happen and I still went back. Yet again a few months later my dog swallowed a toxic mushroom and I took him in.. after 2 days of iv's(they have no night time staff so he was all alone) I was charged another 1100$ and my dog was sent home after throwing up the nickel size mushroom. Again this would be hard for anyone to assess and with there limited amount of technology and doctors on staff I stayed with them. After 15 puppies and 2 breeding , all their shots I stayed with them. Every puppy 70 exam fee plus shots I still stayed with them bc of the staff and amount of time I had spent with them .. I recently purchased a 7000$ American Bully from a top breeder in the world. When it turned up sick his advice was to A. Return the dog or B. Go to a neurologist 4 1/2 hours away. I took it immediately to a emergency clinic which kept it over night and the dog was fine. Must have consumed a still unknown poison. The doctor called me the next day and asked if I would please bring the toxicology and blood test back to review them.. me thinking he was curious to know what the findings were I gladly brought my 7000$ dog in and his 1000$ paper work.. I was not only charged once for the first exam but charged a second time for the review or the the report.. I didn't need two doctors to read me a sheet of paper after breeding for 15 years. He charged me anyways. My female is currently due to have puppies and as poor as the x rays were last time I thought my female is much further along and after pleading with the doctor to not charge me a hefty 70$ exam fee and only for the 150$ x rays he refused. So after spending more then 5000$ with this clinic I am unapologetically giving this place 1 star. Their equipment is outdated the doctors are very old (with age comes wisdom) but at this point I see the errors in my ways. I regret spending any money at this clinic.. they did put my bull terrier on an IV and most likely saved his life by keeping him hydrated; I think I could have done the same with an IV and a cage.(so could any monkey with any sort of medical knowledge) the staff is fantastic and is very friendly unfortunately the doctors are dinosaurs and are very out dated as is much of their technology. I can take a dogs temp and count a heart beat. I don't encourage anyone to spend their money here when there are plenty of better staffed vets in the area with much better equipment including sonograms. It takes them a day to do blood work which just isn't fast enough! Please heed my advice and take your dog to cross roads that has multiple doctors on staff are open longer hours, weekend and will charge you a decent price. Thx for reading!
