Best bbq I have had in years! Nice Smokey flavor juicy meats! Arby's ain't got the meats Ed & Tom do!!

The owner is super nice!!!!!!The pulled pork was very good. The ribs were very tasty an fall off the bone tender. I like a when they are not so fall off the bone but that is a personal taste. Nevertheless the flavor the ribs were great. I'm not a huge fan of sausage but the sausage was good. I ordered the brisket as my 3 rd meat but they substituted the sausage instead. From looking at other plates, my guess is the chopped brisket is the best. I saw a HUGE stuffed potato and bbq that looked amazing

Food was good. Service was fast and pleasant. Ambiance felt a little like being in a Mexican restaurant but it was clean. No malt vinegar though for fish Friday. That needs to be added to the list of options. Prices are fair

An absolute jewel and I wish Texas Monthly would go and give it the recognition it deserves (talkin' to you Daniel Vaughan!). This is a classic TX BBQ joint. We had the good fortune to be there when the proprietor, Ed, was running the show and that probably added a star to the experience. He's the real deal and if the BBQ lacks anything in quality, Ed makes up for it in personality. I'll be back and I'll send my friends. There are a couple of people that made comments about someone yelling at them about how to park in the parking lot. That was a 100% Ed, and if you weren't doing what Ed wanted you need to not only change your ways, but lighten up! This place is a classic.

Hands down the BEST DAMN BBQ I've ever had. This place knocked my socks off. I had the pulled pork & brisket plate and would literally fight a small bear to eat that again for the first time. I would have taken a pic of my food, but I scarfed it down so fast. Being from CA, I wasn't thinking anything from Odessa would impress me, but boy was I wrong. I'll be back Ed!!

The bbq is amazing! Sausage was mouth watering! Potato salad AMAZING!!! Good prices but best of all they were welcoming super friendly and fast!! I didn't even make it out the parking lot with my food! Highly recommend!!

Driving thru Odessa at lunchtime and found the Yelp review. We were looking for good BBQ and this looked like it. Sausage, brisket and pork ribs were excellent. Prices were reasonable and portions were good. We were in a motorhome and we parked across the street in a field obviously used by larger trucks. It was just after 11:00 am and we were only the second table. As soon as we got our food the rest of the world found out it was lunch time. Tremendous amount of large takeout orders being picked up. Owner, don't know if we were talking to Ed or Tom, was very personable and made you feel like a long time customer. Will definitely return next time going thru Odessa. Lunch hours 11-4.

This is a VERY small place, that doesn't look like much from the outside...BUT...it is a must try if you're in the Odessa, TX area. We had the daily special (smoked meatloaf) and the 2-rib plate. The pork ribs and the collard greens were definitely the highlights; some of the best we've ever eaten. The ribs were moist, meaty, smokey, and served naked (sauce optional). The collards were perfectly done, also with a deep smokey flavor. The Mac-&-Cheese was VERY cheesy, with a little chili heat; but super tasty. The cornbread was slightly sweet, and perfectly moist (not at all crumbly). I found the meatloaf to be very tasty also, but a little loose for my taste. I would order it again, but the brisket spud had me intrigued; so more likely to get that next time.

By far the worst custom service ever. We did not even make it inside to order before a guy came outside very aggressively, demanding that we move our car. Once we told him that we didn't mind moving the car, we also told him how aggressive he was being. He proceeded with telling us that we didn't even have to come in. We didn't feel welcomed at all. That was the worst experience we have ever had. We have heard nothing but good reviews about this business and wanted to give it a try but I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. If I could I would give 0 stars .
