Eastwood Park

The previous review is incorrect. Eastwood is a very large "people park" where dogs must remain on a leash, but there is a decent sized dog park located inside Eastwood Park that is completely fenced in where it is requested that no dogs be leashed. The dog park is right next to the basketball courts (to the left). This is an okay dog park with a obstacle course for dogs (last time I was there the pole for jumping was missing though). The dog park only has a few trees and the landscaping is only rocks. There isn't any seating for people though unless you sit on the ramp. If you're used to the dog park on the Westside you won't be impressed by this one; but if you're from a section of town where there isn't a dog park nearby, anything is better than nothing. Some owners bring dogs who aren't exactly friendly, but they're always quick to leave...don't feel bad, if your dog is not friendly you shouldn't be bringing it to a dog park.The park stays pretty clean most days. Just don't forget to bring water and a dish for your dog.

Small but my dogs have fun here sniffing around and playing.Theres no actual grass, it's just gravel & there is some dog obstacles.Pretty clean

There is a dog park here within album park. If you walk along the path you will eventually see it. I really don't like this dog park. It's unclean, full of rocks with no areas of grass, and it's always dead. When people do come to this dog park with their dog, a lot do times they keep their dog on the leash, which makes no sense. This park is unkept and hurts my dogs paws running around on the rocks with the heat. My dog usually sniffs around, but it's not a good place to bring a dog that needs to get a lot of energy out. I just wish it had grass.

There is actually a dog park here, it is within the large "people park" that others have written about. Just start walking on the path. It is towards the western end of the park not where stated on the map.

Not really a dog park but none the less a really nice park. It has a cool little area for skateboarders and a nice recreation center. This park is great for walks or jogging.

The Eastwood Dog Park is not located where this map states. In 2006 there was major flooding in that area so the dog park was moved to the west side of the park. The dog park is a small gated area adjacent to Wedgewood between Lockerbie & Album. There are bag stations, trash, and pines trees for shade for the dogs. Not much shade for humans and there is no water available. The ground is covered in gravel. Not ideal but it is not bad. The best are Pebble Hills Dog Park and Highridge Dog Park. The previous reviewer obviously was at the wrong end of the park.
