East End Catering

Today at work I bought pre packed sandwich with a macaroni side salad. I bit into an acrylic finger nail in my salad.

We had the East End Catering, supply the food and refreshments for a birthday party at the Grand Terrace event center. The food was delicious, as witnessed by all of the guest. They were on time, and the servers were very courteous. I will be using the catering service again, and I am willing to offer my advice for others to do the same.

We have had this company cater two of our events and we were so impressed each time they came. First we had a BBQ style dish and then there was a chicken Alfredo dish. Both were delicious! They arrived on time and they were kind and professional. They were also able to come on post Ft. Bliss to cater our events! All in all they have great food, great people and great price! We will continue to use this catering company and hope others do as well!

East End Catering managed to completely ruin our wedding. After promising that they had no other weddings that weekend they showed up more than 2 hours late missing the hors d'oervres and cocktail reception (which they were to provide both the hors d'oervres and the staff for the cocktails) due to a wedding just prior to mine! Set up took over an hour and many of the hors d'oerves we selected were substituted for cheese and crackers (maybe the wedding prior to mine was slightly less classy), additionally the quality of what we did order was horrendous (likely due to the time crunch of them running so far behind). Bread was not on tables, wine was not chilled as promised, beer was brought late (brides brother had to leave the wedding 30minutes into the "cocktail" hour to purchase alternative beer), no bread was put on tables until after midnight, one bar was staffed (rather than 2 which was in the contract due to the decreased number of staff that was brought), staff were caught drinking from the open bar in front of guests on multiple occasions, no coffee or tea was provided as per the agreement though he did charge us for it! Dinner was served over 60 minutes late and steaks were all overcooked and cold, the wait staff brought no bottle opener, wine was not placed on tables as promised, the single bar that was running was not set up until after dinner was supposed to be served and the entire wedding party had to act as waitstaff for the first 3 hours of the wedding opening bottles of wine with a swiss army knife and serving it in plastic glasses because east end catering was to bring the glasses. On top of it Javier (the owner) decided to leave early and demand payment before he left. No refund was issued and the credit card charge back was refuted. An all class act and a great way to ruin a very expensive wedding! Beware- the reviews we had before were glowing but if he sees a way to make an extra dollar he will ruin your wedding to do so.
