Wanted to say that our overnight stay was 5 Star ! From the Home Cooked Meals that were ready to heat and eat that were waiting for us. To the spotless room with all the essentials for either a one night stay or longer ! Had some beers and snacks with new friends that had also booked a room after we met them at The Catwalk and recommended Double TT !So if your going to be going to see The Gila Catwalk and want to spend some time around the area then I highly recommend this place to stay !Thanks Again Cheers!

Such a nice spot! Quiet, somewhat remote and near one of New Mexico's Birding Trails! Very clean & newly remodeled rooms with brand new beds, since we stayed here about 10-12 yrs ago. (Make a reservation before you get out of cell range.) Clean air, blue sky, and the infamous Catwalk 5 miles up the road which you shouldn't miss. The Blue Front Restaurant in Glenwood is no longer in operation, but the store has been improved and has what you need and more. Ate late lunch/early dinner in Pie Town, then drove through great NM thunderstorm to Glenwood. Then up early to listen to the birds. Good spot & will return!

This was a great little place with a delightful owner. Very clean, well equipped and pleasantly out of the way of the main highway. The resident burros were in a distant pasture so we didn't get to spoil them. We will be back.

I stayed a night at this place while visiting the area (The Catwalk & The Gila National Forest) and it was nice. We checked in at the main house with a lovely woman (owner), who told us about the area, the property, and our room. It was a pleasant greeting and start to our stay.We were in a 2 bedroom Guest House and I was surprised at the size of it. Technically this room can sleep 6, if you use the pull out couch. Admittedly, the furniture and style of the decor were a dated, but think about this: You're in a part of the state where you get no cell service. The closest/best place to eat dinner is The Blue Front. This place is pretty nice. Other facts: Beds were hard, but I like to sleep on rocks. They have satellite TV, but watch out if a storm blows through. The wind/rain blew out our signal. The kitchen was awesome! It had tons of cabinets, stocked with all you'd need. Full stove, and fridge with lots of counter space. If you're staying for a while, it'd be easy to live at this place. Reason for the 4th star: The Burros!! They have a whole family of them, and you are welcome to visit them in their pen. Carmelita, the newest member of the family was adorable when we saw her at 6 weeks old.Overall, the Double T Homestead was the perfect place for us on this trip. We woke up the next morning and drove 5 miles down the road to The Catwalks. It's an amazing hike (2.2 miles, round trip) and is worth checking out. Definitely stay a night here and soak up some of the casual countryside of western New Mexico.

We enjoyed our one-night stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was perfectly clean and perfectly comfortable. We used the toaster oven/air fryer, the Keurig, outdoor grill, TV, the A/C, and the mini-fridge. Everything worked as intended. Our bed was super comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Thank you for letting us book for only one night!

My wife and I stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night,to visit the Catwalk.I had spoken with Robyn concerning some meals for us. My wife and I became vegetarians about a year ago and we usually just take our own meals. She mentioned beans and cornbread so we wanted to give this a try.I was shocked when we went into our cabin and a slow cooker with her beans and a container of fresh Mexican cornbread was there, ready for dinner. It was amazing. Everything was very clean and pleasant. We are looking forward to our next trip. Robert and Brandie 1-15-2022

We went on a spontaneous overnight trip to New Mexico and needed a place to stay near The Catwalk (our destination). We found this place and were delighted with how cute it was. The decor was bright and cheerful, the kitchen was well-stocked, and both the queen-size bed and the twin bed for our daughter were extremely comfortable with warm, cozy blankets. We got there late at night and in the morning were delighted by the view. The place was cozy and comfortable and everything we could have hoped for. Also it was only a 5 minute drive to The Catwalk! Highly recommend.
