Don Taco- El Paso

Delicious tacos and a solid food options for lunch or dinner!My family and I were visiting El Paso for the holidays and were tired of cooking. We decided to check out Don Taco and place a to-go order. The staff was very attentive and the food came out really quick. For my ordered, I decided to go with the asada tacos with a side of charro beans. Frankly, I was not the biggest fan of the asada tacos, but everyone else seemed to love their order. What I did LOVE was the charro beans! They were cooked to perfection and were not too salty. I could've had a big bowl of charro beans, and would've been happy with just dad. Will have to give them a second try next time I am pack in El Paso and try something new.

This place is amazing. The spot itself is super cute, decorated nicely, love the sugar skull theme. Service was amazing, friendly, quick, attentive. The food is delicious, from the salsas to the tacos, enchilada... if you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and stop by

Solid asada (steak) tacos and fajitas here! I used to live down the street from Don Taco so I'd frequent it a lot more often than I do now. This was mine and my bf's spot for quite awhile. He'd order the chicken fajitas and I'd order the asada tacos with a papa (baked potato) and charro beans, rice. All of the meat from here is flavored to perfection. I wouldn't doubt it if they marinade it for many hours at a time. Their salsas were also very tasty and spicy, even. Sometimes places make them too watery and not spicy enough. This wasn't the case here! The staff was always really nice and accommodating each time we went. The food was also brought to us in a timely matter.Their menudo on weekends is also pretty tasty. It's not too greasy and it has a good spice to it. I immediately don't like menudo if it's too greasy. Don Taco always had the TV on or Mexican music playing. I'm not sure if they do that anymore. It never really bothered me because the volume was always decent. I didn't have to shout at my bf to hold a conversation. Did I mention they also had good empanadas and cakes? Solid tacos! The Tripitas were the best I've had in years and the carne asada was tender and had a very tasty marinade. So much better and cheaper than than don cuco, chinampa, toro bronco, etc...

The chef cooks very authentic Mexican food and specially the enchiladas they are made like in Juarez and are not Tex mex. It is a very friendly and very clean and the prices are good We always enjoy eating there. We have eaten Mexican food in other restaurants and nothing like Don Taco.

This is the second time I've came here. The first time I was in love. Everything was so good. This time not so much. I ordered green enchiladas with chicken and they were dry like if the had been microwaved. My daughter ordered nachos and they are just tostadas with shredded cheese on top, the cheese cooled down so fast in clumps. Definitely not recommending those. My husband got tripitas and Al pastor tacos. He loved them. The service was great our waitress was nice and kept checking on us, the establishment looks clean and the theme is very nice. It was miss today with some of the food but the beans are delicious again.

The owners and employees need to be checked. They denied a man, his young children and family service here because they thought he did something that has nothing to do with them that he DID NOT do. I am appalled that an owner and employees would do something like this especially in front of children. erratic behavior for sure. we will not ever be eating here again. hey owners check the news station again, you're wrong! You all owe this man and his family a huge apology And free food for a year. I don't even think they would come back ever. What an embarrassmen to your establishment. Good luck in the future!!!

Don Taco was such a pleasant surprise and so delicious! Very quick service and pleasant and calm environment. I ordered the pastor tacos and they were so good. I can't wait to go back again and try something new.

Great taco place!!! Portions are worth the price and the flavor is great. Always playing great music and a good selection of beer if you would like to enjoy with your tacos. Flautas are good as well. Love this taco spot!!!
