Don Bolos

This is a very nice place with great atmosphere and good music. The music at first made it seem out of place but does change the mood and allows you to get into a more chill vibe and party at same time. The decorations and even the plating were well thought of and they pay attention to small details. The cocktails were different and delicious. Each one tasted great and were nicely done with balance of alcohol and taste. The appetizer was good but I did think the guacamole could use a tiny bit or tiny pinch of salt. The pork belly in the guacamole was nicely done with the skin being crunchy and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The enchiladas were very delicious. The plating was beautifully done and the smoked grilled chicken gave it a nice subtle difference in taste than your normal enchiladas. The enmoladas were fantastic! Really loved the flavor of the mole with chicken. The poblano Mac was very tasty and balanced with a cheesy and spiciness that came after. The waitress was very attentive and helpful when we asked many questions about the drinks and menu. I recommend getting the smoked Oaxaca old fashioned for 3 reasons. 1 it is a great drink, 2 the way they present it is worth ordering one, 3 it's a really great drink ! Definitely recommend and will go back to try some of the other menu items.

Good Vibe, Good Grub, per usual. Not your ordinary Mexican Food, but definitely authentic and there is something for everybody. Cool to have something so original in our West Texas Town. I wish I lived closer...

I'm sorry. By the time you're done reading this review you will think of me as another complaining customer. Been here more than twice just to be more and more disappointed. I'll summarize, oyster were dead, dry and sticky. Asada tacos, the tortillas were heated in a microwave and were served with out a plate and the meat was tough. The esquites had a bug in it. More than once has my food been served cold and I have sent it back for them to warm it up just for them to bring it back at the same temperature. it's sad because the place and the menu has so much potential but it misses the mark. At the moment it's nothing short from a scam and mediocre.

Food & drinks are amazing + phenomenal service. Alongside the beautiful decor and the mural inside, this spot is a must visit for locals or visitors if your looking to impress family, friends or on a business lunch or dinner. Ordered the enchiladas, charro beans and chorizo mac and cheese and everything was very delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Flew in to the local airport. Found this gem of a restaurant. Could not have been more happy. Food was perfect. Just what the doctor ordered. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was perfect. Tuna Aguachile was superb. Ribeye taco as well. Will definitely stop back at Don Bolos next time in town.

Service is great, Ambiance is great.. very lively, fun energy! You can definitely dress up or down, they are very welcoming(: Cocktails are amazing, my food was AMAZING & so was my boyfriend's food. I had another cocktail "Margarita de Jamaica" and it was SUPER good!! Also not pictured was the "Chorizo Mac & Cheese" it was good but too salty for out liking to be honest. Everything else 10/10!! *note - The server offered a sampler of the meats and sauces they have and let me tellllllll you they were ALL good!! I recommend you do that when you order your appetizer((: TRY FOR YOURSELF IF YOU LIKE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!!

The food was amazing! I had to sopes with cochinita pibil and my husband had the steak and eggs and everything came out delicious

Honestly dang delicious, this place impressed me! Service could've been better but it sucks everywhere here. Dos Bolo's gave me Vegas vibes atmosphere wise and even the flavors were up at Vegas level. I'll be back, it's my new favorite Mexican place in midland/odessa.

The atmosphere is amazing - absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The food is high quality and huge portions - well worth the price on the menu. Service is above and beyond anything you might expect. It's a newer spot so they're still working out some of the kinks but even with that in mind there is so much attention to detail that you can easily overlook any issues you might encounter. 10/10Definitely recommend!

3-chicken tacos with rice, beans & ice tea $32.00+. Most expensive tacos ever eaten. Wow I am going back to Taco Villa
