Have been trying to get a hold of Fernando for the last 4 days and he has not reached out once. They are great at collecting their fee, but not returning calls. Time to look for a new company

I use DKD to rent out one of my properties and I couldn't be happier with the service. They found a renter in a little over a month, and while waiting for a tenant they repainted the inside and repaired whatever needed fixing. They don't charge you for the work until they find you a renter, which is taken out of your rental income. Although repairs are rare, anytime they're done, they use reasonable contractors and it never breaks the bank. Before using DKD my wife and I managed the property ourselves which was a constant headache. Now, my only dealings with the property are watching a check get direct deposited into my bank account every month. They make renting easy, cost effective, and painless. I regret not turning to them sooner

This company is terrible. We are a military family who rented from them for 3 years- we try to support veteran owned businesses but cannot recommend them to other families or homeowners. They are inconsistent in repairs - sometimes taking months to fix things. We had sprinklers that didn't work for months and the grass became ruined even though we were responsible for maintaining it. Their communication is the worst I've experienced. They have an emergency number but don't count on it being answered or messages responded to. You have to schedule your own maintenance requests which is fine but they make appointments and you never know if they will show up. Hard when you have to arrange to take time of work and then they no show on a regular basis. Fernando I found to be extremely rude. Our home was filthy when we moved in- appeared clean on the surface but food crumbs/toys/filth when you opened cabinets and drawers. We had to clean thoroughly before unpacking but were required to have it clean when we moved out. Move out was horrible- They actually list the tenants personal phone number on the listing for realtors to call and schedule showings. I was receiving phone calls weekends, nights from people requesting to see the house. Fernando said they were realtors and they probably were but from my perspective I have random people calling me at all hours and I have no way to verify who they are and they want access to my home. This is completely unprofessional, DKD should be scheduling and verifying these people. I am not here to do your job for you. Office staff very unprofessional and unhelpful. People would be scheduled to show up to view the house and then no show - again a huge inconvenience. Once they called to confirm a showing a couple hours before and I missed the call and didn't see the message ( I was busy packing and pregnant- sorry!) And then received threatening phone calls and emails that if I wasn't available for the showing I would be fined - I'm sorry but I already scheduled the showing. If you want to confirm maybe you should do that prior to the day of. Not everyone lives with their phone attached to them. Unbelievable experience. RUN from these people!!!!

I've been working with Fernando and Yvette at DKD Associates for over 5 years and have always had a great experience every time. They are the best property management company I've ever worked with. They are courteous and polite and I would highly recommend them.

I would say that my experience was awful, but seeing as how they are so bad I'd hardly call it an experience. I submitted an application a week ago, since then I have spoken to 3 different people in their office, all three said they would call me back and none of them did, I was also told they were going to call the owner and call me right back and never did. Absolutely unprofessional, and incompetent.

Save yourselves the trouble and stay away from this company at all costs. They don't take care of their properties and don't care that the roofs leak, the walls are falling apart, the fixtures, appliances are garbage. They are only in this business for the money. They will NOT take care of their customers. Trust me, take your money to ANY other company. You will save yourself a LOT of trouble and grief.

I scheduled an appointment to view a home and I did show up 10 minutes late but when I got there, Fernando left an application in the door and left. I called the office and they told me to come back later that day if I wanted to see the home. All in all, he should have called if he wasn't willing to wait 10 minutes for a potential future customer instead of leaving.

Absolutely terrible! They deserve 0 stars. So unprofessional, extremely rude. Not military friendly at all, my husband had not received his deployment orders as they didn't know when the unit would actually leave the commander wrote up a letter for all families and they refused to accept it even after speaking to the commander. We had to pay and extra month of rent and forfeit our deposit. Not to mention the house was filthy upon move in. We will never do business with DKD again and suggest everyone else run far away!

WARNING: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I have been stationed at Ft Bliss for 5 years and have stayed all over el paso but this was the worst rental agency of them all, to include the greedy and rude owner Fernando who claims to have served in the military. Late work orders (2 weeks for a water leak), and just overall poor service. Dont trust him or his company, or you too will be writing a comment like such.

No stars! Had to give it one to post my review...this lying money hungry business needs to be shut down! DO NOT go here!!!! Especially if you are military!!!When we moved in there was a ton of dog hair all over the carpet in the entire house! We had no furniture yet as we are military and so we had to sleep on the floor and I have 3 kiddos. We called these crooks and were told someone would call us back and a day later nothing. So my husband calls again and speaks to Yvette she finally sends someone to clean the carpets. Fast forward to a year later and it's time to move out, we have lived on military base twice and have left the place spotless and have never gotten any deposit taken out because like I said we are very clean people. When it was time to do the walk through nobody from this company did a walk through with us. Instead they hired a painter who walked through the house alone and DKD took his word and painted whatever the man said and took $600 from our deposit!! We had pictures hanging in the living room and was told by these crooks that my husband had to fix where the nails were on the wall mind you these are tiny and barely visible. Because my husband had painted tiny spots where the nails were somehow we were charged $600! Are you out of your mind?!!!! The house was about 1,300 sq ft why on earth would you take $600?!! Did they paint the entire home?!!! Then my husband spoke with the owner of this company I forget his name and tells him how they are crooks and how they screw over military people and this man has the nerve to do a group text with us and the owner. It was our loss we left it alone but now we are homeowners and getting ready to move to another state and guess what? We won't be using DKD for our rental home! Please don't use these guys do yourselves a favor and run the other way they need to be shut down!
