My son was enrolled in their program this year. Ms. Rosie and ms. Amanda are incompetent and do not deserve the respect to be called teachers. Nanette cannot be credited with anything short of loathsome and crude. They kicked my son out in a month time. Examples of what they could not tolerate was water time and his refusal not to splash to playing outside and not running in the playground. They are horrible people and do not deserve your children. They are verbally abusive to children and Ms. Rosie and Ms. Amanda have no business working with children. I have filed complaints with New Mexico and I hope you think very carefully before placing your children here.

The child care center was never clean. They didn't follow COVID rules. I witnessed a director physically assault one of the children. They didn't plan any activities for the children. They yell at them all the time. When brought to Amanda's attention, nothing was done. Walnut should not be open. The director has no business working with children. She cusses and threatens the children.

Similar to another complaint, we left with a balance because we were tight financially. We kept in contact and kept Amanda up to date on when we were going to pay (the whole time Amanda was saying she understood), as we would have to do it in installments. Then a week later we get a letter in the mail saying that they are going to take us to court if we didn't pay the full amount. We instantly tried calling and left messages for them to get ahold of us so we could straighten it out and make a payment. They never returned our calls and gave us the run around. Now they have it at the courts anyways. Isn't it illegal to not answer (even after asking us to contact)or accept the money owed because they wanted it to go to court instead?

This place has done nothing but throw me and my family under the bus. Back in 2011 I got divorced and had to take my child out of daycare for financial reasons. Yes, I did leave with a balance but before I could even get the chance to pay it, Nannette had my wages garnished for more than 3 times what I owed. My debt was paid and at this point I thought I was done. Here it is 2017 and my family and I are trying to buy a home and because they never filed it paid with the courts I may not be able to buy our home. I requested a letter stating we were paid and Joann denied the letter saying I would need a subpoena. I can not believe how rude and non-compliant this place has been. I paid my debt. This is bad business.

After director Maria, quit the daycare on Walnut Street, which was only reason I keep using this daycare due to her work ethic and great environment, i decided to take my business elsewhere. First of the place has a lot of wear and tear areas that need repairs and updates. The teacher's yell at kids instead of redirecting and using better techniques to handle their classes. To top it off I gave this place a two week notice and waited for them to send me the prorated invoice, then after many months later and without previous notice, I get a letter to pay last month in full or they will double it and take me to civil court and submit to credit bureau. I was never once late on any payment ever, this place is a joke and it just tells you how poorly this team of people handle the business from taking care of a child to billing. Take you business elsewhere, I had the pleasure of working with another daycare Little Playmates, now that is a great daycare.
