Dewey's, you're hella cool. Totally different from the other bars next door, but you compliment the strip very well. If you're thinking about checking this place out, I implore you to follow our lead and do a bar crawl starting at 1/8 and ending at Dewey's so you can get some eats in before. So we checked out Dewey's last and walking in I think that was a good idea since they take pub in a very literal sense and don't appear to have any food (I'm okay with this). As all the bars on this block are, Dewey's is pretty small, but it's pretty long so you could definitely fit a lot of bodies in here. They had The Red Headed Sluts on special so we did a few rounds of that. If you've never had one, they're very sweet. VERY. Their specials change from day to day so check the chalkboard. When we first got there they were playing a lot of 5-10 year old pop, but around 10 o'clock they had a DJ. I liked the music they were playing before (not to say the DJ wasn't playing good music) so if I had to guess, on the weekends it's probably less of a chill vibe and more of a dance place. The biggest appeal to me was the bartender's show. These guys flip bottles like no body's business. They even had a few choreographed tricks. They're crowd pleasers and very friendly. Even the manager is a lot of fun and isn't afraid to get out there and dance.

This bar is very attractive, from the music greeting you with 80's jams, to the lovely bartender, hands down a place I will return, I ordered the frostiest, most delicious Stella Artois, in the coldest glass, I am very happy, this was a gem, I just happened to come across, I love this bar!

Good atmosphere and music but crappy beer selection (no IPAs or craft beer). It's a decent place to hang out. Pretty basic place.

Enjoyed a bar hopping night with friends and this was the last stop. Why? Why I ask you did we not go here first? This is an awesome place. Not only is the décor and atmosphere on point the staff was incredible! The two male bartenders were so entertaining and extremely talented in performed bottle Cirque o'lay while the manager frequently visited our table to join in with our awesome dance moves....lol. This is a must try for a drink after work or a night out with friends!

Very nice bar. First two times I went they had a band and was very enjoyable. Third time I went they had super loud hip hop. I love hip hop but I like to still be able to speak to my friends. After all, it's bar and not a club.

Nicely remodeled location in the heart of historic El Paso, this whole area is up and coming. Has the feel of what hopefully will become El Paso's version of Austin's 6th St.
