I originally came to this shop, located at The Fountains, to have batteries replaced in several of my Gucci and Wittnauer watches. I had previously taken them to a local jeweler and they did not have the right tools to open the Guccis- one of my watches now has a scratched backing. Since Deutsch & Deutsch are fine watch makers, I knew they would take care of my watches. When I stepped inside the store, I was greeted by an armed guard and the staff. They carefully labeled all my timepieces and took photos of them so I would be assured I was getting the same items back when I returned (the watchmaker was not in on this day). I was impressed. I looked around the store and saw many things Santa needs to bring me- I have been a very good girl! They have watches by TAG, Rolex, Cartier, MontBlanc and Hublot, as well as an array of very nice jewelry. Tucked away in the corner is a section devoted to MontBlanc pens, cases and other items - I saw a really nice high tech notepad that transfers whatever you draw or write on it to your smartphone as it was hand drawn! Very cool! Academia says that if you are in a Masters Degree program or higher and you are writing a thesis, you should be gifted with a MontBlanc pen upon graduation. My brother got one...I did not (my father had just passed away so no one was thinking). Not to worry, I am blessed with many friends who got together and gave me a beautiful MontBlanc as a gift!!!! Yes, these beautiful pens are amazingly crafted using precious materials; they easily become something that you want more than one of. Today I purchased a second pen for myself and I cannot explain the feeling you get from having and using daily such a nice writing instrument. With daily writing comes the need for ink- I love the fine liner in Bold. It is like writing with a very fine pointed sharpie, but I bought an assortment of ink types and colors today. If you are in need of a nice gift for someone special, this is the place.

This review is long overdue and it has been on my to do list. Priscilla assisted in the sale of a Rolex Datejust that I still own today and absolutely love, it gets a lot of wrist time. Then a year later she helped with the sale of a Cartier watch for Christmas for my fiancé. She has always been kind and so nice to me answering all my questions. Then finally assisted with the Cartier purple strap for my girlfriends watch which she wears daily now. Overall, this is just a great store to buy from and I find it so nice from time to time getting a text from Priscilla just asking how I am doing. It really is the little things from a store that will keep me going back.

I definitely am not in the target demographic of this watch store, but I've been interested in watches for a long time. I recently acquired a Longines diver watch (bought online), and I wanted to change the band from a metal one to a fabric NATO strap. I had no idea how to remove the metal band, so I decided to visit Deutsch & Deutsch to see if they could help. Entering the store, I was immediately greeted by a sales associate. I told her that I wanted to see if the strap on my watch could be removed, and she took it to the back. I perused the Tudors and Tag Heuers, dreaming of a day where I had the means to own one, and to my surprise, she returned 3 minutes later with the watch case and the band separated. To even more surprise, she said no charge, and I left extremely satisfied with the service. There were no scratches on the case or the band, which is why I decided to visit Deutsch in the first place as I felt they would take care of my new watch. I have to commend them for helping me even though I had never bought anything from them.

I am delighted to have discovered this wonderful jeweler. Be sure to visit Roger at Deutsch & Deutsch for your next purchase! He is helpful, caring, and will work tirelessly to find you the perfect piece. They have an amazing selection of fine jewelry and timepieces. By far the best jeweler I have visited in the country. I would highly recommend Roger to anyone without hesitation!

Do NOT have your Rolex serviced here.We brought a Rolex timepiece here in early 2018 that was experiencing a mechanical issue. We requested that the Rolex be sent to one of the Rolex Servicing Centers (RSC) by Deutsch & Deutsch staff. They informed us that D&D had a qualified Rolex technician who could do the required repair in shop and that we would save time and money by doing so rather than sending it to an RSC.When the Rolex was ready for pickup, we immediately noticed a deficiency. The clasp was not properly lubricated and would not close. The salesman went to the back and seemingly solved the issue. The salesman then set the time on the Rolex by adjusting the hands in a counterclockwise direction. He was asked to stop, but continued. A day later we noticed a water stain on the inside portion of the dial crystal. The timepiece had not been exposed to moisture at anytime since the pickup. Lastly, the D&D Rolex technician failed to apply locktight to one of the bracelet rods, causing the timepiece to fall from the wearer's wrist onto a hard concrete surface, which caused additional damage. The incompetencancy of the D&D reapir technician cost us a lot of time, money, and frustration. The D&D service cost roughly $800.00. This is unacceptable! Rolex has been made aware of the issue. Personally we feel that D&D should lose their accreditation to sell and service Rolex Timepieces. In all fairness we did NOT give D&D the opportunity to correct the issue because we did not feel that they were competent in providing a viable solution. We would reccomend only sending your Rolex to an RSC. We know better now, after spending nearly $1,200.00 to correct everything. The staff at D&D despite their shortcomings, were in fact very nice.No response is requested from D&D management.

Stopped by on a hot summer afternoon to look at their Rolex stock. They were fairly well stocked given the current demand. Not much for stainless steel and no ss sports models that I saw. Veronica helped us and was very nice. She offered to add us to the wait list for a ss Submariner. My wife and I tried on a multitude of styles and there was no pressure to buy. At the end of our visit she offered to clean my wife's wedding ring and I had her polish mine for a small fee. We both left happy and shining bright. We could not have had a more pleasant experience and hope to do business with them again.

I never leave reviews but felt I needed to save others from a possible unfortunate situation. My wife purchased an $8,000 Rolex from here as a gift for me. She did not know I had already purchase another watch. Figured, no issue since we could just return it. I was extremely surprised that as a "high end?" jewelry store they do not offer any returns/refunds. They give you 10 days to exchange your purchase and that is it. I can't even believe there is a company with a policy like this in business today. Every other jewelry store I have ever shopped with (big or small) has a good refund policy. Some give as much as 6 months. Even ebay Rolex dealers give 30 or 60 days for a full refund. I would think a store would want to make sure you are happy with an $8,000 purchase but it seems not. Most companies with policies like this are because there is a scam of some sort going on. So beware if you want to purchase something there are plenty of other options with more customer focused policies. Extremely disappointed!!!!!!! Note: The watch was unworn, with all tags 100% as purchased.
