Not sure why this hotel is rated so low. Perhaps it was managed by a different company in the past. It is obvious that this hotel was recently updated and renovated (from my understanding it is converting to Days Inn). I was very impressed with my room, pool/hot tub area, front desk area and parking lot. The hotel is well lighted, safe and quiet. Room was equipped with a microwave, mini refrigerator, hair dryer, cable TV, great lighting, excellent window blinds, and a nice desk area and another table and chair. No coffee maker (these will be coming to rooms in near future), but they have juice and coffee available in lobby area in morning (breakfast is also to be added in near future). There are also a number of resturants and stores in the area. Staff is friendly and price was very good, and probably the best lower priced room I have ever stayed in. My bed was also very comfortable, room extremely clean, AC worked well and efficiently, all linen and towels fresh and clean, and the toilet paper even had the end water marked. Only things I thought could of been better is shower waste pressure was a little lower than I perfer and towels not as soft and full. Just be aware they require a $100 room deposit which the CC authorization is cancelled the day of checkout provided the room is not damaged. Definately recommend this hotel and will stay here again if in area. I also had a nice conversation with Cynthia during mu check out.

Never go to this hotel and if you do, do not give these thrived your credit/debit card. I paid cash and they still charged my debit card. I remember clearly on the 9/15/2023 I came in there exhausted. I had just took out 400 in cash. I have jportil2 hotel clerk, I have themCash and wrote Cash and asked for a receipt. Desert In charged my card again on 9/18, two days after I left. I have filed a a claim with BBB. The clerk was slick, even though I paid cash, she demanded I put my debit card on file and I did. I got scammed and ai am seeking legal counsel, and ai life's complaint with BBB. If you Texans want to steal go steal from President Biden! Not from me. I will get my money back!

Don't know how it got one star. I've been to far worst motels with the one $. For my experience it's five stars. It's a one dollar symbol motel. What do you expect. Towels were clean. TV worked. I just needed a day off to rest and drive. Main thing was the place was not sketchy.

The absolute WORST hotel experience, of my life. Filthy towels, filthy, smelly room, the door didn't lock, and when I asked for clean towels and for the desk clerk to wait for me, so we could check the door together, she said I was "giving her attitude." Also, THEY CHARGED ME FOR DAYS I WASN'T EVEN THERE!!!! There are so many other places in El Paso, for the same price, that are MUCH better choices. Save yourself from a horrific experience - stay elsewhere.

Would love to give this place a zero! Worst service EVER!! Receptionist was super disrespectful the entire time! Didn't even spend an hour there by the time I asked to cancel the room. She just yelled at me saying she wouldn't give me cr**. The few minutes I was there the lady just kept on calling the room to tell me all sorts of stuff. Finally she told me to talk to her manager when I asked for his information she refused to give it to me! Finally she ended up kicking me out, my last resort was to call the cops for the way I was being treated there. On top of everything I never got my money back!! Never coming back to this location or any other of this company! With out a doubt the worst hotel ever!
