Deming Motel

Do not stay here - it was the worst road trip motel experience I've ever had. I really don't like giving negative reviews but my conscience won't let this one go. I frequently drive the 10 interstate and this place was open at 1am when I was too exhausted to continue my drive from CA to San Antonio TX. The other motels were sold out and I was out of options so I took a room at the Deming Motel. I'd rather stayed at the Bates Motel. The lighting was terrible so I didn't initially see the problems. Plus I'm 53 and didn't have on my glasses. Embarrassing. But by the time I got in my pajamas and laid down I was too tired to get back on the road again. Bugs. Dirty wash cloth. Disgusting. After a night of no sleep I checked out and advised the lady clerk at the desk of the conditions and she had no interest in my concerns. I asked for the owners contact information so I could voice my concerns. Desk clerk denied, so I left a handwritten note. Never received a response. The one excuse the clerk offered was that the bugs were due to stormy weather conditions. Wow, I feel sorry for anyone who is stuck in the middle of the desert with only the Deming Motel as an option. Travelers tip::: sleep in your car.

It so clean and everything is just comfortable. If they focus on breakfast that gonna be the best because they just have sweets breakfast for to have, usually people don't prefer to have sweets in the early morning.

In the 2 years the Motel has gone down from month to month, The motel Assit. Manager was fired after complete devotion to the Motel & owners after 8 and half years of service. She was very friendly & helpful in every way. My family which is very large have been back once since but will never return as long as present owners are there. Not the same at all as you can tell by the outside & inside cleanness.
