This is my most recent and last review of this establishment. After giving this restaurant a 5 star review I am disappointed to have to leave this review. My wife and I had decided to have breakfast at Del Paso again yesterday. There were four cars in the parking lot. We sat down and after quite some time our server finally approached us. We ordered our drinks and some time later they arrived. We ordered our breakfast. My wife ordered the "American Breakfast ", scrambled with crispy bacon and I decided to try the menudo. FORTY minutes after sitting down our breakfast was served. My wife's scrambled eggs looked like wet corn meal. My menudo was the absolute worst I've ever had. I can no longer endorse this restaurant to anyone. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.

It's been a while since I have felt the need to post a restaurant. This is a definite while in the wall spot you don't want to pass up on. The food and service are excellent. The pancakes are better than Black Bear diner "famous" pancakes. The Chile Rellenos are definitely a great choice for people who like spicy cheesy delicacy. The mole is a little on the sweet but savory side, but I just happen to like it that way. The Star of the show is the chicken tortilla soup! The soup (broth) is delicious and served hot in a tea pot. That's right, you pour it directly onto your bowl of chicken, tortilla strips, avocado, and cheese so that way the tortilla chips are still crispy with every bite. The friendliest most attentive staff in El Paso staff makes sure you are well taken care of. Sorry I didn't post a pic of the food, I couldn't wait to devour it!

So I was on a search for great El Paso food and decided to order from this restaurant because it is super close to my house. I know they have mixed reviews but when I drive by there is always a lot of cars in the parking lot. We order the chalupas and green chile chicken enchiladas. Both items where amazing and the servings were large. I think of myself as a green chille chicken enchiladas snob, and I wasn't disappointed by the fine cuisine! A quote from my soon in law "this was the right choice. If you're looking for a upper class restaurant then go somewhere else but if you're looking for great food go here! Fast, Great food, and friendly service. Del Paso you have a new forever customer.

I ordered from here today. I never really have given it much thought, but I wanted tortilla soup and they were the only ones available. Wow! I was blown away. I asked for no chicken and they did just that, but the soup still had the best of flavors. My boyfriend ordered the beef flautas and when he bit into it he said they were fire. He said the meat was tender and they were not skimpy with it either. He is extremely picky, so the fact that he liked them so much means that the flautas must've been good. The prices are very reasonable and hopefully there will be a day when we can actually go and eat there in person. For now they get all the stars because the food was amaze balls!

Just tried this restaurant and it is: SCRUMPTIOUS!!!I ordered the steak nachos and the portion was quite generous! But even better? The customer service was on point!! I was invited to take a seat and was given complimentary glass of water with a lemon and some house made salsa with house made tostadas. Yummos!! I'm not a water drinker because water from the tap in El Paso is disgusting at best. But even their water was yummos!Well, I had to come back the same day as my bosses needed something to eat as they were going from one meeting to the next. They have all day breakfast and it was also quite scrumptious. So if you're on the east side and need some delicious Mexican food, with great customer service, visit Del Paso!!

Your typical Mexican restaurant. Let me start of with service was great! Everyone very attentive and friendly. Place was clean. Now the food... I got the Mexican plate. Feel is a good way to get a feeling for their flavors. Green enchilada was good, picadillo taco was delish and rice and beans nothing special. Now the chile Colorado was bland... needed more seasoning of something.. the chile relleno seemed to have all the right things but the breading on it was too thick and it wouldnt stick to the relleno. (See pics). Finally the fresh homemade lemonade was a disappointment. It tasted like the bottled lemon juice. Even though they reassured me it was freshly squeezed it didnt taste like it. Had to ask for Tea. I'm taking some burritos to go will see how that goes. I will be coming back..
