It was my first time in El Paso and I didn't have anywhere to board my horses. By chance I found this little piece of heaven. I called and spoke with Jorge and explained to him what I needed, he welcomed me with open arms. Jorge, his staff and even the other customers came to my rescue. I feel as though I have met a friend for life. I recommend using Debac's Equestrian Center for training, boarding or just a great conversation. 5 Start outfit!

Extremely unprofessional, and far from an "Equestrian center". There is zero knowledgeable staff on site. The facility is set up very nice, but if the owners continue to run it without professional experienced staff, they will continue killing horses with their negligence.

"When I first came to this barn, I was excited for the possibilities. The property was gorgeous, the people seemed friendly, and the stalls that awaited my horses were clean and full of fluffy shavings. After time went by, the fluffy shavings were never replaced and the flooring turned to pee soaked dirt. The pee spots were never scraped and the stalls started smelling of ammonia when you walked in. On a very hot day, the horses went without water because none of the employees noticed that the hose to the automatic waterer was cut. They were fed moldy hay on a regular basis, and when confronted they made excuses and promises that were never kept. They sell the fact that someone would be on the barn to watch the horses 24/7, but in reality it was a shock if I saw somebody was home past 9pm. I thought it was just due to lack of experience, but by the end it was from lack of experience and lack of caring. This barn does not care about horse care, it cares about birthday parties and cookouts."

Fed my horses bad, moldy hay. When called out on it disrespected my fiancée to her face and behind her back. Lost checks when payment was given. Overall the experience was bad at the end of my stay there. The facilities are beautiful and have a lot of potential if a manager with experience were to take over that knew what they were doing. Owner deleted ratings section on the Facebook account when he received bad reviews.

This place is not what I would deem safe for any animal to live in. At first everyone seemed so nice and welcoming, especially the owners. I was very impressed with what I saw and what was going on. Come to find out there were plenty of skeletons in this closet. My horse died here, and he wasn't the only one. He was the SECOND death in under 2 months. The first death was hidden from all boarders and shoved under the rug like it never mattered. My horses death was handled much differently, however. Instead of calling me for the supposed two hours they knew my horse was sick, they just left me in the dark. They claimed to have been walking him for that time period and attempting to call me. However there are no records of a phone call prior to 1 am, when he told me that my horse was down. Upon arrival to the barn it was apparent that colic was only part of what was going on. My 10 year old, otherwise perfectly healthy gelding, was suddenly blind, struggling to breathe, having seizures, and paralysis in some limbs. Every time I would ask for help to get my horse up, Prince would make it almost all the way before I witnessed the barn owner drop the lead rope. It didn't slip out of his hands, it wasn't hard to hold onto, I watched him pull his hands away, and drop it. Causing my 1000 horse to fall several feet to the ground, you could hear the ribs break. I fought and screamed for several minutes before the BO even considered calling a vet. He used several excuses including "that's your job," "they won't answer," "I didn't think you'd want too," and "I don't know who to call." None of which were slightly true. The vet arrived around 2:20, and was one of the BO's lifelong friends. Neither of them would speak to me in English, they just casually laughed and had side conversations in Spanish while I was fighting to keep my horse alive. Upon speaking to the vet a seperate time, it was disclosed that my horse was poisoned- whether it be on purpose or on accident, he was poisoned. Nobody thought to actually tell me before my horse was dead. The story doesn't stop there, over the past week he has confronted me several times to accuse me of things I had no part in and to make me feel worse. He has admitted to wanting to stir the pot out of anger. HE is angry, why? MY horse is the one who died. I'm completely shocked st how the situation was handled by the owner and staff. I never in a million years would expect ANY human being to act the way he has acted.

Can't fathom the complaints. Maybe it was rainy. The upper valley doesn't drain well in El Paso, but I do not own any horses to board anyway. My daughter takes riding lessons here and I could not be more impressed. Her instructor, Lily, is unbelievably good with kids. She is firm and kind. She is very intentional about what she teaches and when. She has well thought through implementing measures for safety. She educates the children about the horse and the explanations behind things, rather than simply providing the how-to of riding. She provides a very versatile program with instruction in jumping, English and Western riding, horse gymnastics, horse care, etc. Super Impressive!

This facility seemed so wonderful. It's not. The hay is moldy, the staff is inexperienced and the owner is cruel. There are several horses on this farm that have had no hoof care in months. The hay is very poor quality. The staff doesn't stay on the farm to monitor horses nor do they know much about how to properly handle them. They will lose your checks and not feed grain you provide. Most of all, they are not honest about sick horses. You cannot trust these people to get your horse vet care if they are injured or ill. Stay away!
