In Japanese, "daiso" suggested by its name ("DAI" means "big" and "SO" means "to create", which is sourced from the Daiso 50th anniversary website. As soon as you walk in, you immediately have this urge to create with the endless variety of home goods or arts and crafts. There's a little bit of everything from outdoor gear to makeup brush holders, which I was very particularly interested in! The best part? Everything is dirt cheap!! I bought a whole bag of goods such as the makeup brush holder, Calbee snacks, spatula, and Calpico for under $20!! I was SHOOKETH! The service is fast and efficient as we stood in line and an employee inquired if we were paying with card as there were two self checkout stands. That was honestly my favorite part lol. Huge fan of self checkouts! Definitely coming back for more home goods for our new house because the random house decorations seemed endless and absolutely charming for the right price!

Be aware if you shop at this store. They will not let you exchange or return anything. The manager will not budge and will say it's against company policy. The selection of items is not what you would think. It seems to be random things placed here & there. This store is definitely not a discount store. Things are way over priced & definitely not worth the price you pay. I bought my daughter a Disney fan and it was broken by the time e we got home. There are better places to shop for odds and ends than this store
