AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! My brand new car's windshield wipers were damaged by this car wash and the owner refuses to accept any responsibility. Upon arrival, there are two employees who brush your car as a prewash prior to entering the tunnel. This triggered my automatic rain sensing wipers to begin working. Towards the end of the car wash while in the tunnel, I noticed my wipers were stuck in mid cycle and struggling to go back down. Immediately upon exiting the tunnel I brought this to the supervisors attention. He had me pop my hood and tried to manually maneuver them down. He then asked me to park while he went inside to review the surveillance footage. I followed him inside and saw the footage for myself. As it turns out, the guy on the passenger side who started to prewash my car radioed over to the employee on the driver side to advise me to turn my automatic wipers off. The employee on the driver's side admitted he only asked me to tuck the rear view mirrors in and to put the car in neutral with my foot off the brake. He said he assumed my teenage daughter who was sitting in the passenger seat told me. WTF?! How does that make any sense? No one talked to my daughter. There aren't any signs indicating automatic wipers need to be turned off nor mirrors tucked in. If they are going to tell customers about mirrors, they should use the same opportunity to tell them the about the wipers, ESPECIALLY when they see them going off!! The assistant manager apologized and said he would call the general manager. He mentioned he's notoriously difficult to reach and should have been present that day. I waited around to speak to him myself since it was obvious no one there had any authority. I was also provided the cell phone number of the general manager, which I immediately called and left a message. An hour later he called the assistant manager back and said they would be willing to do the right thing and repair my wipers, he just needed to get approval from the owner. He called back 30 minutes later with a very different tone and said this was my problem, not theirs. I requested to speak to the owner. The owner, Jonathan John's called eventually with the nastiest tone and attitude. He said he feels zero responsibility and I'm an idiot for not knowing better to turn my wipers off. I suggested he install signs notifying customers since the employees can't be relied on to consistently verbally warn people. He insulted my intelligence and snarked that he doubts I would be able to read them anyway. How unprofessional and rude!!! Not only did they lose my business (I own 5 cars!), but I intend on sharing my experience with this shady business with everyone I know.
