My kid has been tearing up the cheap skateboards for a year or so. As his skill and interest levels increased, we decided to invest in his wishes and pick up a board he wouldn't splinter in the first 30 days.The attendant was super knowledgeable (to the dad who had no idea what she and my kiddo were talking about) and ensured he got exactly what he wanted.

Went there yesterday an older woman helped me. She was very nice. Bought some bearings, washers and a bolt for my bushings. Needed a axle bolt too so went back today at 2pm. Their hours say 12 to 5pm on Sunday. Doors locked, knocked no answer, no sign other than the hours posted. Called no answer no voice mail. 3 stars cuz they're were closed during working hours w no explanation. Maybe head all the way to Barrio cuz they're open today but really didnt wanna leave the neighborhood.

Fascinating science behind skateboards and Crooks East helped us to navigate through it for my son's gift. Veronica was extremely friendly and most helpful in allowing us to pick out the right skateboard. If thinking about a skateboard for a gift then this is the place to go!
