I got my miniature poodle groomed today our groomer Debbie did an amazing job super friendly and great vibes from this place. The Groomers seemed very experienced and not lazy and in a hurry like most places here my dog also was completed in a very timely manner they definitly just earned a returning customer from me. Also prices are extremely fair

All the negative comments are accurate. The receptionist is also extremely rude and awful. I was taking my dog for self-serve baths there, but the receptionist's poor behavior turned me off the place completely. Further, they were asked to groom our other dog and when I brought him in for a second time and I thought he was getting the "same cut."He did not. The cut was messy and poorly clipped, he looked like a drunk had gotten at him, it was so bad. It wasn't at all what we wanted, but AV didn't want to start any trouble so we left. We will not be going back, and will be taking the dog to Peachy Clean to correct this horrible mess.

Here's my story: I tried to get my dog a grooming appointment here, called three times and never once received a return call. We used to take him here in the past. My wife also tried calling and they didn't return her message either. So I went in to make an appointment. The owner patronized me, basically accused me of lying about the unreturned calls, and gave general attitude. I still made an appointment for August 15th. So I take him in. The owner starts reaming me about not having his shot records in front of the other customers, and tells me they told me when they set up the appointment and called to confirm. Well of course they didn't when I set it up (heck she was there) and never did call to confirm. All I'm saying is be wary, the owner is a terrible business owner, there are MUCH better options in town to get your pet groomed. Stay out of this place!

My first experience with the proprietor of this business was rather negative when I entered the establishment approximately a year ago, but today's visit confirms that my money should not and will not go to this establishment anymore in the future. The whole reason I took my shihtzu here in the first place was to follow the wonderful dog groomer from another local pet grooming salon who was now at the Country Dog. She was kind enough to hunt me down, and inform me that she was going to begin grooming at the Country Dog. This has been approximately the third time since that initial visit. Today, I entered the establishment to find the owner scolding one of the dogs at the salon--first sign of trouble. I then forgot to take my dog on his leash, so he attempted to bolt out the door as I entered when another customer was arriving for her dog to be groomed. Not good on my part, I know. The owner (who didn't greet me with a smile or kind "Good Morning!") quickly and sternly informed me, "He needs to be on a leash or in your arms!" I quickly scooped him up, gave her my dog, and verbally gave her the information necessary to complete the initial part of the visit and left. When I arrived back to the house I realized that as a proprietor, the owner should be aware of her negative behavior. After all, she isn't doing me any favors, I chose to give her my business. I began the conversation by apologizing for not taking my dog on the leash. I then proceeded to tell her that her greeting was short and that she seemed stressed and overwhelmed and I didn't like how she was talking to the dogs. She told me that the dog she was scolding was hers (like that makes a difference?). She proceeded to argue with me over the manner in which she greeted me. I informed her that I didn't call to argue with her, but that these are trying times and that she as a proprietor should be aware of the manner in which she greets the customer. Some more words were said and then we ended the conversation. I then received a phone call from her saying that my shihtzu was ready to be picked up and that they (the Country Dog) were no longer able to cut his hair. I asked her why. She said because the first time I visited the establishment (a year ago) I informed the secretary that answered the phone that the trailer park (located across the street) was not a good landmark for informing customers of the location (which I did, big deal) and that this second time was not a good experience. Can you believe it? She is actually arguing with how satisfied she was with a customer. I was neither rude, didn't raise my voice, and apologized for not having my dog on the leash and she has the audacity to tell me this? Obviously, this owner doesn't need the business. The stylist however, is wonderful! Nice and pleasant and does a great job at trimming a shihtzu. I hope she gets her own shop one day. I'm there! If you don't mind arguing with a business owner, then give the Country Dog your business. However, I think she is doing just fine and doesn't need anymore.Side note: These are the facts as they occurred from my perspective and experience. I can't state nor do I claim to understand what other individual's experiences may be. I hope that it is more pleasant for them and their dog than what I went through. Good Luck!

Pretty awesome. We have an older Lab that had never been groomed. To her to these guys three weeks ago, and her hair is still super soft. She wasn't very enthused when we left her, but when we picked her up she seemed to have enjoyed the experience.

These guys are awesome. Nice clean shop, excellent customer service and all the staff is very friendly!! Ing Yung has groomed my dog for years. Only thing they could improve on it to not book so many dogs that they have to keep yours for 3 hrs. That's too long.

These guys are horrible! My dad went to pick up his dog, and they had a chow in the same cage! I think he was calm, but I would have thrown a fit! He will never take his dog there again!!! Like the previous review maybe they need to not book so many dogs if they don't have room!
